Little Gem
The Hotel was very clean our rooms cleaned everyday ,air conditioning fridge and small cooker in the room and separate sink.We had a lovely view in the front of the hotel overlooking pool and beach.Marilly was particularly helpful and nothing was to much trouble would definitely stay again and one of the best locations in Lacca though a number of steps to get to your room should be taken into consideration if you have mobility problems.

No idea why this is a 4*, rather a 1*, at best 2*. Bathroom was falling apart, tiles off the wall, mould. Friendly owner though, but the place news a full renovation. Pity, as it has the best location on Paxos.

I will start with the area. The hotel is situated in a trully beautiful place. The beach is unreal, the color of the water is amazing. The hotel itself is just alright. The staff is nice but the communication is a little bit off. I booked double/triple room and asked for 2 single beds as I was traveling with my mother and my daughter and was told i could get extra bed if needed for my 4yo daughter. When we arrived not only we got a different room than what it was in the picture but there was only one double bed there. The room itself is very very basic. The kitchenette wasn't too clean, the little oven was all rusty , bathroom size was good enough, but there was no cover for the shower , so the water went absolutely everywhere which was annoying. Big note as well , i don't think its a good place for kids. The water in the pool is all salty , and the pool is in fairness pretty deep and the area is very slippy. They offer breakfast but seriously not worth the money. There was 3 of us and all we got was 2 slices of ham , 2 slices of cheese, few slices of bread , coffee and tea, and 3 natural yoghurts. We had it twice only and got charged 60 euros.

Not a luxury property, but 5 star surrounding area
This hotel isn't fancy, but they are right next to a fabulous beach so you won't be spending too much time in your room. Very nice staff, especially our driver, who picked us up at the ferry stop and was a great resource for info about the island. You can easily walk to the small town from this hotel, and there are also small hikes you can take from here. Be warned, some of the hikes/walks are a bit steep, so bring some walking shoes. But in general, this is a great find for the price on a gem of an island.

Great staff! Fantastic views. Good location for the beach and town but beware as it is a stony/rocky path and many steps downhill from the hotel. Spacious room but basic kitchen and the mattress needs replacing. Bathroom was large but unsightly regrouting and the bath was blocked. Apart from these points, I would recommend this hotel.

Position, position
The position and view were fabulous, rooms are big but mattresses could do with replacing. Harami Beach Taverna next door on the beach serves fabulous food and 5 min walk around the water to the town is great. Helpful staff. They picked us up from the boat for 15E

Nice hotel, clean with amazing views
Beautiful views, but of course that means it is steep. A lot of steps and very steep slopes, but if you are able it is worth it! Taxi can not get very close to the hotel. Lovely and quiet - take a torch to walk around the path to Lakka in the evening. Lovely stay, thanks.

Fabulous location and views.
The hotels' position and the views, directly leading to a shingle beach, were fabulous. Sunbeds were free for hotel guests and the sea was crystal clear. Literally a 5 minute walk along a bumpy path (care needed especially at night though it is lit up) took you into the town. Lots of yachts moored in a sheltered, horseshoe shaped bay made it the perfect place to eat and drink each evening. The hotel owner, Marilly, is fantastic. Really informative, approachable and helpful. She arranged our pick up and drop off at the port and the loan of a charger when ours packed up. The rooms and facilities may not be the most luxurious but it is Greece and the price was really reasonable and the views more than make up for it.

Amazing location, short walk to the centre where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and bakerys. All served excellent food/drinks. Hotel basic but perfect for our needs. Helpful with organising lifts to the port etc. Jimmy the driver is great! No hairdryer in room, but got one easy enough from reception.

Tranquil with Idyllic Setting
Stayed at the Amfitriti for 5 nights. The hotel was perfectly located just outside of Lakka with a pool and bar with direct access to the beach. The lady running the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and clean with cooking facilities in the room. Would definitely recommend staying.

Very basic hotel. Room comfortable sleep and good aircon with balcony view. Toilet basic but functional. Cooker and sink basic with small fridge. Pool area poor and hardly used. Staff reasonable and try to accommodate Did not have breakfast but poor reviews from others. Great for beach and 2 mins to harbour restaurants although when it rains hard then difficult. Overall you get what you pay for.

Nice big room, great view, beautiful beach.
We had a big room with a great view of Lakka. Never used the pool although it looked OK. The pick up and drop off to and from the port was very convenient and much appreciated, and the ladies at the desk and staff were very helpful. The breakfast included in the price of the room was a good start to the day with good choices available. Bit of a steep walk down to the beach but was worth it when you got there, beautiful clear water great for swimming or any beach activity. Bit of litter around ,but no worse than anywhere else where Greeks congregate. On the down side there is only wi-fi in the reception area, none in the rooms and TV was nonexistent unless you are into Albanian soap operas.

Ideal cheap and very cheerful hotel
Very nice and friendly simple hotel with good views and location. Owners always friendly and helpful. Not the most beautiful buildings by any means but the location and views are very good. I didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that.

The best location on Paxos. On the beach next to lovely taverna. Short walk to town. Very helpful and friendly owners and a cute dog called Smart. Free pick up from port. Nice swimming pool. Free sunbeds. Lovely watching the yachts from your balcony. Reasonable rates. I will stay here again!

Great location but hotel needs refreshing
Great location, just above a stony beach with clear and calm waters - ideal for swimming. It's only a 5-10min. walk to the pleasant town of Lakka which is much more relaxed than Gaios (no traffic) and still has many options for food, etc. On the downside, the hotel would need a full refreshing as everything from the room to the lobby and pool area feels dated and underwhelming. Still, we appreciated the pick up and drop off service from/to the port and the ladies tried really hard to meet our needs (thank you!), so we enjoyed our stay overall.

What a lovely surprise!
I booked this hotel thinking I'd compromised a bit on the price and could just use it as a cheaper base to explore the island. But on arrival I was knocked out by how much better it was in reality than it appeared in the pictures. As others have said, the location is absolutely fantastic. There's a lovely little beach below and a beautiful calm sea to swim in. The short walk to the town is really pretty and pleasant (and well lit - so don't worry about previous review!). The town itself was the best we found on the island - just the right size, just a few shops to explore and a good choice of lovely tavernas. The more I explored the island, the more I realised I had picked the best place to stay. The welcome from the family owners is very warm and helpful and Nancy is quite a character! Downsides are that rooms are not flashy - it's basic and comfortable but not luxurious/super modern. The views are great though! There is a very steep driveway to the car park (and I am a confident driver) but it was not impossible and your can always park in the village and walk around to the hotel. The breakfast was a bit random but it's free so you can always pop down to the bakery and grab a fresh pastry and a coffee. None of these things would put me off racing back there at the first opportunity. Hire a boat and potter around the island for a day exploring!

Our family break in Paxos
Lovely location near two beaches ,the first with a bar and sunbeds. Fabulous sea views nice room cleaned daily. Highly recommended as long as you are fit. Very steep drive down to the accommodation so bear that in mind if you are not, could be difficult with the cases .Having said that once on site the steps to the beach were fine and a pleasant fairly level stroll into the Village which is lovely with a laid back atmosphere and plenty of choices of places to eat.The harbour and bay are very pretty with lots of boat and yacht activity. Staff were all very nice and helpful ,no problem when we asked to book our return taxi. I would imagine if you contacted them prior to your arrival they would help with your luggage without a problem . Would not hesitate to book again if we return to Paxos
