I have stayed here in the past and it was ok, but room 225 was terrible. It looked like someone had laid in bed, sink was dirty, there was no closet (bad design). Additionally, I asked not to be near elevator and was right next to it. Finally, television was all screwed up with wrong date and time and had to use 2 remotes, but wouldn't show live tv

Everyone was friendly. They are renovating, but it doesn't really get in your way. The smell of paint in some areas is the only drawback. I really didn't care for the pancakes (made by a machine) at breakfast, but there are lots of other choices.

Also, I want to thank you for the 5 star review in spite of the downsides you shared with us. We appreciate your honest feedback. Indeed, our pancake machine doesn't make the most stellar hotcakes, though they are favorited by many of the patrons. As you stated, there are plenty of other hot breakfast items, and I'm happy you partook in the other options that were available to you. As far as the painting near the entrance to the 1st floor elevator, I am very sorry for the smell. As we are finished with the remodeling of the rooms, we just have a few touch-ups to the hotel so that the interior of our lobby matches the new, beautiful rooms. In just a few short days the paint smell will subside, and we are very grateful for your understanding and patience :) We hope to see you again, and we look forward to your next visit should your future travels bring you back to our area.

It was under construction when I was there. My room had a stong unpleasant odor. The breakfast was good. No one cleaned our room or brought us fresh towels.

Your feedback is very important to us.I hope you were pleased when presented with the complimentary suite upgrade that was gifted to you upon your arrival. I'm very sorry to learn that the room was unsatisfactory. Our hotel has undergone a complete renovation. Every single room, (including the one you stayed in), has brand new carpeting, furniture, appliances & more. The hotel is not under construction, and it hasn't been since December 2023. However, the pool room is closed and the door is locked preventing access into the space while we finish remodeling the pool bathroom and other things in that area. Since access is prevented to the pool area, there's no way for guests to even peek their heads in to see the current state of its renovation. The closed pool area just appears as a single locked door in the building. We have attempted to reach out to the websites and all proper channels in an attempt to have our pool facility status updated. Our pleas continue to fall on deaf ears, therefore it's us and the guests who suffer for it. This is why we have a clear & concise notice posted at the front desk for all guests to see. Guests are free to cancel their stay and go elsewhere with no cancellation fee or hassle of any kind should the guest(s) decide they no longer want to check in. I do apologize for the lack of housekeeping service in your room. I see that you stayed for 2 nights. Any guest staying longer than 1 night may have housekeeping provided to them upon request. We are also happy to provide extra towels and anything else you may want or need if only a simple phone call down to the desk from your room were made. I am so happy you enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet! We're pretty proud of it ourselves as we provide the very best hotel breakfast in the city.We do hope that you will reconsider, and give us the opportunity to show you that your unsatisfactory experience was indeed an exception. We look forward to seeing you again should you find yourself back in the area.
