Excellent hotel with a great view
Posted 30 Dec 2017We really enjoyed this hotel. Although the road leading up was rough, it was well worth it! We look forward to returning next year. From the view to the room furnishings, we are very satisfied.

A peaceful retreat
Posted 31 Aug 2017 on HotelsLovely hotel on the mountain with an AMAZING view. The staff is very friendly and helpful! It is a quick taxi ride to downtown for dinner. The restaurant was only open for breakfast when I was there. There is a little neighborhood store about 3 blocks away.
The walk up to "El estribo" is about 30 minutes and well worth the hike! Don't bother climbing the 400 steps at the top tho.
My only complaint about the hotel was wifi access was limited. But don't let that stop you from staying at this hotel!

Pros: Excellent lake view.
Cons: Installation of a noise reduction windows. It gets a little too loud during the mornings due to too many dogs in the street.
Very comfortable bed, very spacious room, and great room decoration.

Great sights of Patzcuaro and the lake

Pros: The views are breathtaking, also the place is so quiet and cozy that you could have a very romatic night at the hotel.
The hotel is outside Patzcuaro's downtown agitation, so it is a very nice place to take a rest, a coffee and gaze at the beautiful sights offered by the hotel. The rooms are quite spacious, confortable and I loved that each room is different and has it own decoration.

Posted 24 Jan 2017 on HotelsMy sisters and I took this trip in mid-January and we very much enjoyed our stay. This hotel is extremely beautiful(if you like rustic). It was nicer than what we expected. The location is rustic but you are in a safe and healthy environment, plus you get a very nice lake view (morning, evening and night). The service was great and I definitely recommend this hotel.
