Nice quiet hotel

Pros: The quiet and relaxing mood
Cons: The staff were helpful, but did not seem to know how to run a hotel.
Location: We wanted the quiet and isolation, but you need transport if you want to visit anywhere
Very nice setting. The hotel has great potential, but just misses the mark on many simple items.
Internet poor in the room, bath room items not topped up, towels basic and only one each, limited breakfast choice.
The room is nice and very quiet and relaxing at night.
Need to be aware that you need your own transport as very isolated.

Ideal place to get away from it all.

The room was more like a small flat than a bedroom incorporating a kitchen, sitting room and dining table and chairs. The restaurant was not open in the evenings but offered a very good breakfast, both Western and Thai with excellent service. The garden offers a private pool with various sitting areas. The hotel was fairly empty when we arrived but was packed at the weekend when the new guests held a party in the garden which lasted until about 01.30am.

Quiet location near to a secluded beach.

Pros: The quiet location and friendly staff.
Cons: The general upkeep of the hotel for example making sure all the lightbulbs are working and furniture and fittings are not broken.
Location: waterpark, botanical gardens, floating market and elephant rides. Lovely beach within walking distance. Family Mart just up the road for supplies.
Palm Grove is very peaceful and quiet. We travelled with our two children and felt very safe. You need a car to get about as it's quite secluded but there are lots of things to do nearby. The pools were lovely and gardens well kept. The staff clean every day and provide fresh towels. There was plenty of room in our apartment, a lounge and dining area, well equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms with own bathrooms and another toilet downstairs. Lots of wardrobe and storage space. A good base to stay in as there is no bar, restaurant or entertainment.
