The only problem is the AC. They don't want to issue key cards for the purpose of keeping th AC running. There is also a miscommunication amongst staff on check out time sometimes.

Dirty room, dust and hair all over the floor. Breakfast is almost like red cross, non existent. Staff seem like they do not want to be there. Overall very poor experience

Adding a microwave to the kitchen would be nice, other than that it was a decent hotel and I had a pleasant stay.

I went to the hotel and asked for early check in for my friend a few days before he was due to arrive and they wanted an extra 1500 baht (£35) and refused to budge on the price. The receptionist and the manager were also very unfriendly and did not say hello back when I greeted them because they were to busy. You can easily get a room for the night for that price ie the Boutique and Bravo City Hotel across the road with a better service, breakfasts and over a hundred rooms which cost around 1000 baht (£22) per night. When my friend arrived he was charged 750 baht. It would seem the Asana hotel just makes up the price to suit their moods. My suggestion is to book elsewhere as this hotel will also charge for late check outs and etc unlike the Boutique and Bravo City Hotel where I stayed that lets all my parties check out 2 hours later without any issues with a gym, pool and free beach towels.
