I made this reservation kind of fast and didn’t realize it had a 6.0 rating. On my way there from my flight I was really scared with everything I was reading about dirty sheets, not getting the keys etc. We called the number on the confirmation email but everything happened smoothly and someone showed up with the room key not long after we arrived at the location. Everything in the apartment worked fine and looked clean. The location was great with the night market and beach close by and a bus route as well to get around. The pool is just as pretty as it looks in the pictures. I would’ve given this review about a 9 but when I was leaving I saw that in the lobby there was a poster put by administration stating that the location was not a hotel, it is a condominium complex and that renting out apartments for short term stays was not allowed (only for like month rentals). I’m surprised hotels.com would continue using this location after all the bad reviews and considering that the location doesn’t even allow for it to be used as a hotel. I was only there for two nights but PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. There could have been serious consequences to me and my family for staying there.

Thanks for your feedback and as you can see that we really improving our property in terms of check in, sheets, cleanliness, etc. However, regarding the sign, we do apologize for any confusion that occurs. We already talked to the property management about that and we're allowed to let our guest stay for short term. It's sad that instead confirming with us, you gave us a very low score after we tried our best to serve you.

A quiet and comfortable place.
Posted 15 Sep 2018 on HotelsWonderfully quiet place. Yet within walking distance of beach, restaurants and body treatment establishments. I like the privacy the Condominium affords. The room was comfortable. Air-conditioning and water eater dependable.

It was a good place for beach view and night market,
But I wasn’t not happy the fact that I have asked to pay 500 bat for cleaning room, this price has to be included with the daily rate!!
Had I knew this before, I wouldn’t choose Acqua at all.

Actually the cleaning fee is in the payment bucket and was clearly stated that payment have to be paid on arrival.

Not much pricacy

Pros: Good amenities
Cons: No real privacy the way the condo was laid out.
Location: No comment
Not much I can say about the place as I did not end up spending a night there.
Had an argument about the fridge in the apartment. I reported the fridge was not working. It was on for about two hours and showed no sign of getting the slightest bit cold. Ask the agent to come. Two hours later (not a bad response) he arrived. He tried to tell me that the fridge was working and that the items I had in the fried were cold. I told him they were a lot colder when I first put them in. We couldn't agree and I felt I was being conned. Anyway he said he would refund the reservation money. So at 6:00PM I had to find another place to stay I packed and found somewhere and the guy asked where it was in case it was one of his. I had to hold back from letting him have it.
Anyway from what I could see about the place it was well equipment with amenities and rooms to socialize. It did appear than no matter which room you ended up getting that the layout of the place afforded little privacy. If you didn't draw the curtains - everyone was inside your room. Thanks to Expedia I did get the refund.

Beware scam for cleaning. Avoid if you can

Cleaners can before checkout time and demanded 800 baht. Barred my exit. Horrific experience. Scary people

We apologize many times for your experiences but please notify this is not a hotel but a condominium where we have a one-time cleaning fee to clean the room after you check out. Cleaning can be ordered from 500 baht per time and we clean for free 1 time per week and we wrote that before you booked the place.
