Exceptional place to stay. Owners were on site and super friendly and helpful, property was clean and charming. Will definitely be staying again.

Whangārei trip
Posted 19 Jun 2024 on HotelsGreat stay on a short business trip. Welcoming and friendly hosts showed me around. Will have to come back with the family to enjoy the games room and heated pool, likes like fun 😊 Comfortable little cottage with all the necessities, nice and warm and cosy.
Gotta come back for more !

My wife and I travelled NZ for seven weeks. Kauri Villas was the best accommodation experience of the entire trip.
If you are looking for a little rest and relaxation, beautiful scenery,
traditional Kiwi charm combined with luxurious surroundings, then this is the place for you!

Posted 13 Aug 2022 on HotelsThis is a beautiful gem nestle among the lush bush on top of a little hideaway hill providing a near 360 degree view of the surrounding including the tranquil water in the distance. I have been visiting Whangarei for the good part of the past 40 years and this one tops the list of charm, serenity and top class hospitality from the hosts Andrea and Mike. The breakfast provided by the IT savvy part time chef Mike was just perfect.
