My wife and I stayed for four nights, for what we knew would be a stressful event. I chose this hotel because I had previously had wonderful experiences and thought it would help ease the stress. Between a complete absence of hot water until day 2, having to use the gymnasium shower for the duration of our stay and the lack of a separate bed for our child (who was a paid guest), I was incredibly disappointed and sad to say that I could not be easily persuaded to go back, as my family have a history with the Park Royal, since it was built in the 80’s. My choice of accommodation added to our stress. For the money, we could have found much more in a cheap motel.

Excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very comfortable. Great bed. Shower wasn't powerful but did the trick. Room had all of the amenities. Plenty to see and do within walking distance and train station nearby. Will definitely stay there again, just not until the noisy construction is finished.

Jackhammering from 7am. They said they are renovating when we checked in but that noise would only be “during the day”. Amazing room, super comfortable bed. But the noise so early just ruined it
