I absolutely loved stayed here. Staff was amazing at every turn, from the front desk, to the restaurants, to the pools and the maintenance. Check in is prompt and easy, the grounds are very spread out with wonderful walking paths connecting everything. There are carts to assist with transporting luggage and even golf carts to assist you with especially large items. Food at The Milk House, Simons, and 1886 was all wonderful, fresh, healthy and served up wonderfully. The crater is fantastic, and John at the desk was so helpful and accommodating. The views are spectacular, mountains surround and the changing leaves were beautiful. There's many trees on property, along with vibrant flower beds and cute little ponds here and there. Also many fire pits around and you can purchase s'mores kits at the front desk. Really can't say enough good things about this place! We were in town for scuba certification and had such a wonderful time. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Outstanding renovation. Our room was extremely clean and well appointed. The ice machine is located in the lobby, so be sure to grab some before heading to your room. We were very happy with the dining room. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Beautiful property. Had diinner at Simon's Restaurant. It was very good. Because the property is so large, they have golf carts to take you to your room if you ask.

No electricity, tv didn’t work along with other items, kids bottom of feet were cut in the new pool, construction noise load. A wedding was there and partying all night. Supposedly becoming a Marriott AC. We have been going there for decades and the new ownership group has one vision push rates lower service.

They charged my credit card after i had already paid through expedia. It has been a nightmare trying to get my money back. Then when I had to check out a day early for a family emergency, expedia gave me the runaround about getting a refund for the second night. I'm never using expedia or homestead ever again!

We decided to take a little anniversary trip here for a night. The property itself was beautiful, we did some Golfing and walked around a bit. When we tried to check in the systems were down and we were never given a key, and all the other rooms had keys.The sweet girl at the front desk had to let us in our room until they could find our key, and we were told we would have to go back to the front desk to have them let us in everytime. Once in the room there is a slot on the wall that says to put your key in for power, however we had no key. When we called the front desk from our cell phone we had a bad connection and they were not very polite when we asked about the power, I guess any card works but we were never told until we called. I would like to try to give them another chance when all the systems are working, but it was not the greatest first experience.
