The room was a bit small but for the price, I can't really complain. The convenience to transportation was the best part of the local. Just a five minute walk to the Gare de L'est Metro. Took about 45-50 minutes to get to the airport.

Very basic amenities and service. Location is convenient in terms of promixity to train station. Breakfast is decent with breads, old cuts, eggs and drinks.

**Disappointing Experience** The location of the hotel is convenient as it’s close to the subway, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The staff at the hotel were poorly trained and failed to inform us about important details, like the fact that breakfast was not included in our stay. During a previous stay at a hotel in Brussels, we were clearly informed that breakfast wasn’t included, but the staff kindly offered us a complimentary breakfast. However, at this hotel in Paris, there was no such communication. We unknowingly picked up our breakfast and were about to start eating when a staff member quietly asked for our room number. We were confused and decided to check with the reception, only to find out that breakfast was not included. We left without eating, but to our frustration, we were still charged for it. This incident spoiled our vacation. Additionally, the room itself was lacking essential amenities. There was no iron, refrigerator, or closet, which are expected in a four-star hotel. Overall, I would rate this hotel two stars instead of the three it claims to be.

Unfortunately when we arrived the reception area seemed to be having a rennovation and was therefore quite cluttered and dusty with wires showing from where electronics/desks etc were being moved. We arrived around 22:00 and the staff said they were changing over and we needed to wait before we could check in. This seemed slightly inconvenient but we were however offered hot drinks while we waited and the staff were very apologetic about this and otherwise very friendly and welcoming. The lift was quite dirty and noisy/rattling going up in it which seemed disconcerting and one day did not work at all. As well as this the room it self was quite small with some mould in the shower. The bed was comfortable however and we didn’t have any issues with noise. Overall an average stay but slightly better priced than other central hotels in Paris.
