Very Professional B&B - excellent choice! Location was excellent metro just outside of door. Non intrusive host as we like it but available to give excellent suggestions if requested. Comfortable, clean and very safe. Our new Paris home for us-Thank you!

Apple-pie that hotel owner baked and hospitality were excellent. the owner showed how to go around the Paris efficiently. It was great help for sightseeing. Basically, I was satisfied by this guest house. It is very difficult to find out the entrance of this guest house. You should call them in order to open the entrance.

Dear 'anonymous' Just to make it clear for future guests, if you read my messages and follow the indication I send prior arrival, it's very, very easy to find our place as we are right in front of the exit of the metro station (lets say 3 steps...) And I provide the door code as doors are closed for evident security reasons! By the way, I hope you will keep 'basically' a great souvenir of your stay. Jean Etienne

Outstanding location. Tasty Indian place right out the front door, directly across from a Starbucks and market, and just a two minute walk to Grands Boulevard Metro Station. The biggest let down was the breakfast. Minimal choices and not what I had expected for the price of inclusion. Host was very kind.

I thank you for your review. At first, to avoid any confusion for future guests, metro stop in front of our building is Bonne Nouvelle, and not Grands Boulevards... Regarding the breakfast, we offer each morning a rich buffet breakfast including tea, coffee, orange juice, fresh fruits salad, a choice of French cheeses and ham, croissants from Stohrer, the oldest bakery in Paris (1730), French bread, brioche or home made cake, yoghurt and baby tomatoes... As I am always at home on breakfast time, you can ask me if you have any specific request (like gluten free bread or turkey ham...) Wishing you a great year 2019! Jean Etienne

This B&B was great! It was in a perfect location with a Metro station located just outside. Many sights were within a 15 minute walk or we could take the Metro. The room was very clean, updated, and Jean does a wonderful job of adding special little touches to make your stay enjoyable. He was a great host. He readily had maps and brochures available and even booked our dinner cruise for us. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh meats, cheeses, danishes, jams, fruit, and yogurt. We hope to stay here again!

Very clean. No AC so be careful if going in. The summer. Immediately off Metro stop.

Dear Julie I thank you for your comment Just to make it clear for next guests: we never mentioned anywhere any air conditioning... so usually no confusion for our guests... Air conditioning system is simply impossible (and illegal!) to have in a housing building like ours dating back to 1840! And you forgot to mention the 2 fans in the room to cool the air... nice place for shopping and transition

Pros: location, interior, service, bed and linen.
Cons: nothing
Location: subway station, theater, department, opera house, cafe (starbacks coffee neared the opera was nice), casual fashion shops.
The room was beautiful and in nice location, has a great view of street. The owner was very kindly, provided map in English and Japanese, information of museum and sightseeing, taking care like reservation of dinner and TAXI. It was very helpful we took contact by mail anytime, and help us when we in trouble with strike and lost the way.

B & B in Paris

Jean Erienne was a wonderful host and we had a fabulous stay. His B & B was a great find, and the experience was so much better than any hotel could have been. Thank you Jean! We loved it!
