Quiet corner, lots of food around!
Posted 21 Aug 2024 on HotelsTucked in a corner near Place de la République means it’s quiet enough to rest while near the subways and buses. There’s a water dispenser for drinking in the lobby. Glad I brought my own bottle. Plenty of eats around. Staff are helpful!

Horrible bathtub and horrible view

Room was expensive for what it was
Posted 26 Jun 2024 on HotelsBasic Room, very small. I had to switch rooms because the first one had a nasty smell. The 2nd room was ok. No shower caps or other amenities.
However, hotel staff were great and helpful, offered me early check-in.
Breakfast was ok, the usual bread, toast, croissants, cereal, chicken slices, ham
Slices, cheese, cereal etc. boiled eggs. Fruit. Stock was really low on Sunday, no fruit or sliced bread left.
Location was good and easy to get to from the Eurostar station. Took me 15 minutes.
I would stay again

The only reason why I'm ratinf this hotel this way it's because I contacted Expedia long time ago and let them know I wouldn't be able to travel so I was requesting to cancel my reservation and get a reimbursement. It was an emergency and I feel like the hotel could have done more to be helpful. I was very looking forward to travelling and staying at this hotel but the poor management preferred to not make an exception and have a customer dissatisfied just because of lack of empathy or flexibility, and greed.
Next time I travel to Paris in May I'll make sure not to stay at this hotel and will not recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is what to expect for a relatively inexpensive hotel in Paris. The front desk staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. The area around hotel is gross. The area suffers from a serious homelessness and drug addict problem. We travelled all around Paris and this was clearly an epicentre of the city’s social problems. If I could do it over, I’d stay somewhere nicer for a bit more.
