The hotel is few steps away from Moulin Rouge. It was too convenient to just walk after watching the Moulin Rouge show. Also, the staff are very helpful.

Internet was the only problem - we could not both get internet connection. Connection was fine downstairs in the lobby. Breakfast was nothing special for 19.50euros.

Nice room, close to many tourist sights you can walk to. Had a nice balcony with chairs and table for morning coffee and view of the area. Staff always at front desk and very polite and helpful.

Three words concerning Hotel R de Paris: the very best! I want to thank Nicholas in particular who welcomed me and through his kindness, caring and generosity made my stay an exceptional one. Nicholas, as one of the managers of the hotel, you are truly one of a kind. Many sincere thanks! This is the place to stay while in Paris: safe, clean, great location, friendly staff: what else could one ask for!

Horrible experience, management was so terrible. I had a booking which I requested to change to another date due to change in business plans. I emailed the hotel management direct several times a couple days before my arrival, never got a single word from them! I contacted expedia and they said the change could be done if the management approved, so dont worry as that shouldn't be a problem as they had availability for my new date. Well I didn't hear anything from the hotel until the day of my original arrival date. They said they would not change my date, and I wouldnt receive any refund for my stay. The management had the power to kindly change my booking however they decided to say no and keep my money. I would not recommend this hotel to others due to this unprofessional and unpleasant experience nor would I ever stay there in the future.

Dear Mrs Luck,Thank you for your message.On August 29, we received a message from you asking to amend your reservation (your booking started on August 30).Because your reservation was made through Expedia.com, we could not act on it without an order from them. The amendment request could not been satisfied because we did not have availabilities for the new dates for room types you requested (Executive or Deluxe). Because it was not possible to do as requested and, according to the conditions and terms of the reservation, the first night has been charged.Best regards

I stayed at this hotel on two occasions 3 years ago and was looking forward to returning. Sadly, following this stay I will be going elsewhere in Paris. The breakfast was disappointing, hallway smelt damp/old, bathroom was tired/in need of a refurbishment. The staff was still friendly
