Below standard for a 4 star hotel
Posted 29 Mar 2024 on HotelsFor a fairly new hotel it was tired, bathroom was damaged with a hole in the wall, shower fixings not attached, no double bed, just two singles pushed together and air conditioning turns off after 2 minutes. The only positive is the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Functional hotel out of town in commercial zone
Posted 17 Oct 2023 on HotelsArrived Saturday night for rugby world cup. Checking easy. But, it was 2000 and the bar was shut. No tv (except in the room and that was almost impossible to change channels. No obvious open bars or eateries near, V attractive looking McDonalds but no TV. Walked for 20mins and found great restaurant with TV and the best steak I've had in years. Le Grandel. Public Transport from the hotel is by bus which is on the doorstep but it's a long ride to most places.
