We stayed for two nights. They provided complimentary water on the first night but when they made up the room the second day, they did not refill the water even though we had consumed all the water on our first day. We found a housekeeper right outside our door and asked for a refill of water and she asked us to use the two small bottles of water water from the minibar (which would be charged of course).
We used the two waters and left for the day and returned at 12am for our second night. We realized we didn’t have any drinking water in the room and called reception asking for water. They replied that housekeeping and the bar closed at 11pm. I asked whether that meant we couldnt get water and they replied yet.
I am unsure how this is acceptable that they couldnt provide us with water. We’ve travelled to over 20 countries and stayed in countless hotels and have never faced such crisis over drinking water.
