My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights in May 2025. All the staff at the front desk were extremely nice, cheerful, and helpful. The metro station is close by. The neighborhood was very pleasant and safe. There are two grocery stores and numerous restaurants nearby. The elevator was a bit small, but that seems typical for Paris

The hotel is delightful. It's clean and quiet, the staff is helpful and friendly. The room, which was their basic and least expensive option, was quite spacious, particularly by the standards of Paris hotels. I highly recommend this place.

This is a great hotel. Near lots of transportation, well kept and nice looking. The only drawback is the bathroom; it's so small you can barely turn around. You'll need to keep the door open to towel off after a shower.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The only complaint. Was that the bathroom started to flood and the staff seemed unsure how to fix it, and it continued to flood the entire stay. Other than that. All was great.

Nice place

We have stayed at La Demeter before. The service is professional and helpful. The lobby area is comfortable. They have a Wine bar and other drinks that you can purchase. We stayed in the superior room and it was clean and had more room. It is quiet. The decor is nice. It is in a great neighborhood with many restaurants and a metro nearby. Overall I would recommend this place.

The hotel appears to have been recently renovated so the room seemed quite modern with good amenities (including a strong hairdryer, not the “vacuum hose in some hotels.” ) The room is very small even by Paris standards. I was disappointed that there was no refrigerator but at least there was a kettle and coffeemaker. Ask for a room that does not front Blvd Saint Marcel. There is a hospital nearby and the sirens can be loud even with the window closed. There are boulangeries, restaurants and groceries in the area, but the neighborhood is not as charming as other areas. The staff was uniformly welcoming and helpful.

The property is clean and well-maintained. However, the room I paid for was not the one I received. I did not have a small fridge to store my medication or a closet for my clothing. The bathroom tub is so high that it is difficult to get access to take a shower. I imagine that a short man or lady would have trouble getting inside the tub. There was no safe deposit to store valuables..

Great hotel. Super chic and easy access to Le Gobelins metro. Absolutely spotless. Huge shout out to the cleaning staff. Positives: Huge towels which was fabulous. Lots of sockets and even 2 USB charging points. Amazing air con!!! Desk with mirror. Wonderful shower. Free water each day in the room. Bed super comfy and king size. Lots of lights and lamps and reading lights. Beautifully remade room every day. Lots of quirky storage and shelving. Beautiful decor and styling of room. Possible negatives but not for us: only one English Channel which was BBC world news (I watched live tennis so didn’t bother me.. but you may want to some downloading before you arrive). Only half a dozen hangers on an open rail, so we lived out of our suitcases which we are fine with as only here for 3 nights. OVERALL…lovely staff, reception and cleaning staff. We really liked the location as we were prolific users of the metro and bus so could get everywhere from here. Great stay and we would definitely stay here again xxx
