mignon) - the best piece of meat I've ever had!

Fantastic stay in luxembourg

Beautiful countryside - very restful
Posted 5 May 2019 on HotelsGreat stay at Hotel does Ardennes. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean comfortable good size room. Not a fancy place but very well keept. Excellent buffet breakfast. Dinner menu is not extensive, but the "cordon bleu" was delicious. Very good WiFi connection.
Located in small farming town, very quiet but the surrounding country side is beautiful. And it is a close drive to Vianden, Diekirch, Clervaux and many other amazing towns and castles. Would definitely stay there again.

Check the roads! There was no notification of road closures heading down from Cologne Germany which made us water an hour on the roads.

Good hotel with limited staff
Posted 12 Dec 2018 on HotelsSmall hotel with fewer, very friendly staff. Very clean small and functional rooms. Limited number of staff makes it difficult for late night check-ins. Wifi was poor in rooms and was only able to send emails from the restaurant.

Vibe: The hotel room was clean and modern. Restaurant had rustic features which we loved. Felt like a nice get away for us.
Service: Excellent! This hotel is run by a lovely couple. We had gone on a hike and ended up somewhere 16km away from the hotel. I called up the hotel to ask for the number for a taxi - which the owner profusely advised me against (very expensive!) and that they would come pick me up instead. Also breakfast is a winner with lots of options on offer including dinner options. Our room was cleaned daily.
Location: This hotel is located an hour away from Luxembourg City. We did not realise this when we booked this. However, it was a nice surprise to be away from the city and in a small town - country side.
Overall: A lovely stay. Would come again.
