"My wife and i stayed here as a stop while walking the Camino de Santiago. What an exceptional place! The building is charming, the breakfast layout is better than many others we have had at a much higher price, and the staff are extraordinary and helpful in so many ways. Highly recommended!"

This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. "What a beautiful hotel & superb location. But that is not the best thing which is Javier, mine host, who was simply brilliant. Fantastic local knowledge & always willing to spend time sharing it & helping where possible. Maps, advice, loan of equipment - he has it all covered. Lovely continental breakfast on the terrace. Rooms immaculate & daily cleaning. Bedroom views to die for. Nothing but praise for a superb stay"

"Lovely hotel just out of Santander in a reasonably sized village. Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and bakeries all close by. Several sandy beaches within walking distance. Hotel was clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were lovely and helpful. Air con was powerful. We stopped here the night before we were due to catch the boat from Santader. Would happily stay here agin."

"Absolutamente fantástico. Es un sitio de ensueño, la comida maravillosa y el lugar impactante. Lo más especial sin embargo es la atención del personal. Se comprometen a la llegada de hacerte sentir en casa y realmente lo logran. No hubo detalle que no atendieran y momento en el cual no nos hicieran sentir como dueños de ese maravilloso palacio.
