Great in many ways: but restaurant food is way over priced for the area. Involuntary servitude to get get your own drinking water and only one single serving: one bottle to put it in no bag in trash cans (Imagine throwing away wet stinky onion, used baby diapers, and sanitary napkins with no bag and nothing to wrap them in!)

The staff at the hotel was phenomenal. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The convenience of the location for us was fabulous and having the mall next-door was an extra bonus. We would definitely stay there again.

We were a group of 5 adults and one 10 year old. There was something for all of us! The property, its price, accommodations and the staff are outstanding. This Marriott Hotel is not in the heart of Panama City, Casco Viejo or other touristy areas (about 20 minutes drive) but if you are leasing an automobile, parking is easy, only $10 per day and the highways are a few meters away. There is a bit of bumper to bumper situation when you leave the hotel during the week as the Busses Terminal is next to the hotel and there is only that route to leave the property. But this was negligible. The return is easy, right off the highway. However, this hotel is situated next to the largest mall in South America, and that was a fun choice with many stores and restaurants. Make sure to eat at the hotel - great buffet spread! Also, delicious food at the Bistro Cafe right off the hotel elevators and a step down into the mall (we ate there all of our breakfasts). Also great, dinner at the beautiful Ancon Hill Restaurant in the hotel. All great! If we return to Panama, we will definitely with no hesitation will stay at this Marriott.

Amazing stay! Hotel is connected to the Albrook Mall, literally a door and step away. Service - from Reception to Foodservice to Room/Maid Service - friendly, polite and accomodating. Tours from the hotel are readily available - with English speaking guides. The tours may be about $3USD more expensive, but it's worth it. Uber is available & cheaper as a transport option - but you won't get the tourist details as you drive around. Breakfast buffet is FULL of options, vegetarian & regular. It is excellent! Cafe Met has pastries, soup, sandwiches etc - available all day. Stayed during Christmas and Boxing Day - lovely! Christmas Day - the mall is closed, but you can chill by the pool & go touring outside. Boxing Day - mall stores are open as usual & sales are still on. A vacation that was well worth the money spent!!!
