Bad Experience
Posted 19 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe Hotel is closed and blocked off. The company that owns the property (Seahaven Beach Resorts) is up the street. But you do not know that until you arrive at the desolate building.

I arrived and NOONE was in the office to check us in! We have been calling for over a week to get a refund and NOONE answers any of the phones or calls us back! Huge waste of time!

Palm Grove is the worst place I’ve ever experienced! When I got there-the office had a sign in the window saying they were closed with a note on the door saying to drive a mile down the road to another hotel to check in. So I did. When I put the key in the door of the room to open it-the door almost fell off the hinges! You actually had to lift up on it to get it to shut. The room had an air conditioner going full blast but it was hotter inside the room than outside! I went back & told them I couldn’t stay in that room so they gave me another room key-2202. I found 2201,2203 & 2204 but no room had 2202 on it! There was a room next to 2204 but it looked like the number identifying the room had been ripped off the wall. So I tried my key in that door and it wouldn’t work. So I get back in my car & drive back to the other hotel. I tell them I walked all over the property up & down stairs in the 100 degree weather looking for room 2202 and that I tried my key in the door of what I thought was 2202 & it wouldn’t work. They tell me they have no other rooms available & to get in touch with Hotel.com to get a refund. So I sat in their office in tears talking to Hotel.com for 45 minutes. They were very nice & put me up at a super nice hotel. I would not recommend Palm Groves to my dog!! Was the worst experience ever!
