"I have been staying at a lot of places lately as I have been doing a month long trip Euro Trip. What I liked about this place was that it was very affortable and easy to get around since the bus stop is right around thr corner. The train station is close too. The staff was really nice and friendly! I came in late and the process was very easy to get in. It was a bit rainy and I was even lended an umbrella. Would definitely recommend staying here. "

"Villa Belverde is a hidden jewel. Located on a large private lot with a beautiful garden, the accommodation is like an Italian art palace inside, with high ceilings, big windows, overstuffed chairs, fine sculptures, paintings and large mirrors on the wall, Persian rugs on the floor, and marble everywhere. "Lovely staff. Spacious rooms. Lots of towels. Good breakfast. Coffee available all day. Beautiful patio out back. Only negative is trying to park. In three days we only found a spot out front one night. "

"This place exceed expectations, the church and naturist vibe were amazing. Who needs a TV or AC anyhow. Amazing views of the ocean, nice outside area with tables for enjoying a bottle of wine and watching the sunset. Went in July and even without AC temperatures overnight was in the low 60F. Close to two trails to Monterosso and Vernazza. For the true hiker who wants to be away from the tourist this place is the perfect fit"

"The property is a quaint no frills B&B with an awesome host Robert and his wonderful mom. It's very quite. The room was spacious; the bathroom was not attached to the room but that was not an issue. Socialize at breakfast was fun; we do not look for venues base on BF so. The facilities outside the room looked like advertised; lived in. Most of our time is spent away from any property so we don't need much to satisfy us; the property met our needs, The train station for trips to Cinque Terry is...

"The best part is a view, absolutely beautiful. The room is dated and minimal. Some appliances did not work properly. Overall, it was a quiet stay with an awesome view and breakfast on the terrace."

"I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting La Spezia, Portovenere or Cinque Terre. Short car drive to catch the ferry or train! House has a beautiful Mountain View, Italian breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom but most importantly, staff was very welcoming and gave us amazing tips as to how to make the most of our short stay in La Spezia. We will be back! "

"My stay here was amazing. Keta was very attentive and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!"

"The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room and excellent, ample breakfast. Shower is tight for a plus-sized person. Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16. Still, I highly recommend this B&B!"

"Despite the fact that we never read the special check in instructions (lesson learned!) the staff replied immediately to our messages allowing us to get our room. The place is very safe and well located close to bars, restaurants, stores, etc. Highly recommended!!!"

"What a beautiful place to stay! I came for one night to see family and this place was amazing. The room was impeccable and the whole experience was very inviting and kind. Breakfast was great as well and they clearly put a lot of love and intention into caring for their guests. "

"Mauro was a gracious and welcoming host! The property, although secluded and if driving, is on top of a very winding road, is well appointed with a patio that offers a spectacular view of Lerici. The chalet was quaint as well, located at the bottom of about 50 stairs, making trekking luggage up and down a little challenging, but everything else makes up for that! There is little wi-fi, so if that is a necessity, you may need to provide your own hot spot. "

"Property itself was ultra clean and the staff were amazing. The building is a little dated but perfectly functional. Unfortunately, the drawback of the area is that the beaches are mostly fully reserved for the entire season by Italians from the city and so it is almost impossible to get a place in any of the beaches even or of peak season"
