We were placed in a handicap room. Hard to shower, definitely couldn't sit in tub for bath. Bench attached to tub and wall. The heater didn't work. The guest above us sounded like they were going to fall through the ceiling at any moment. The phone did not work.

The staff needs to be trained on professionalism and customer service. They sit in a back room and you have to look for them for assistance. Then the attitude is unpleasant as if you are bothering them especially the Black lady at night, very rude. The room needs to be painted. our toilet seat was broken and the smell wasn't good in the lobby.

The staff was nice, and the air cooled the room. Beyond that, I can’t believe this place bears the Wyndham name. The first thing was the cleaner smell that hit when opening the room. The lighting was cold, bright white, retina burning, institutional, with no lamps. Everything I saw was somehow stained with dirt. The furniture was super old, in disrepair, and dirty. The curtains were tattered. Towel bars were not all secured to the wall. Walls were cracked. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The pillows supplied were inadequate to prop up in bed comfortably. The WiFi, was ultra slow. The morning shower was luke warm. The breakfast was sorely lacking. The elevator was loud and jerky. The outer door handicap opener button did not work (only the inner door button would operate both doors).

Front desk could not find my Expedia reservation in their system. Had to wait for 1 hour in the lobby with kids at 12 am only to make an ad-hoc reservation directly with them. Now I am dealing with getting a refund from Expedia and they say they are not able reach the hotel manager to get the refund approved. What a mess...Will never book another Microtel.

Property itself was fine. Location was perfect, the hotel itself could be a little cleaner, the rooms came across as a rushed clean, I had some crumbs on the floor, there were two sauce droppings on the couch in my room, and straw wrapper on the floor behind the end table. The hallways should be a lot cleaner since it’s the first thing you see when getting off the elevator.

The room was okay, the continental breakfast was very disappointing, no eggs, have to be there early to get a yogurt or a fruit, the toilet was not cleaned properly, i would give it 3 stars. The staff was wonderful and friendly
