We arrived at 2 pm for check in and had to wait till 4.30 for a room
Even then it was still.being cleaned
No apology
No respect shown
No complimentary drink whilst waiting
It was our problem
Pipes in bathroom made a loud noise
Sound proofing terrible in room
Breakfast staff very abrupt and choice limited
This hotel is not splendid

The AC in the room was insufficient. Never got below 78F in room.
Had to get new room key made every time I left room.
Not much in the way of dining in area, and hotel restaurant was closed for an event

The first night the air conditioning didn’t work, but we asked them to take a look at it and they were able to fix it. It ended up being an ice box in our room but the cold was better than the heat. There was no control system, so you either have to have the air conditioning on or off. The blow dryer didn’t really work either. Other than that, the hotel was great. Pool was convenient. Breakfast was great. There wasn’t really ocean access because it didn’t seem safe to swim there, but the beach is so close. It’s walking distance to so many restaurants, grocery stores, and to the beach. They were able to call a taxi for us, which was helpful.

Lovely place great people but it’s a rubbish tip outside. You need to petition the council to clean up outside the property
