The staff were so kind and helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is beautiful and an easy distance to great restaurants, shopping and to get to explore downtown Palermo including the markets.

We had the pleasure of staying in this hidden gem in Palermo. The owners are terrific, and went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is perfect, and close to everything in Palermo. Great stay!

Very good stay! The staff was very helpful and prompt with anything we needed. The room and facility was just gorgeous! The location was excellent as well - walking distance to all the main sites, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

A Real Sicilan Palazzo Experience

Great, warm and hospitable service - the rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel itself was beautiful - a real Sicilian palazzo with marble everywhere. Breakfast included was perfect.

We loved this little gem of a boutique hotel - the facilities and general comfort were beyond expectations. The staff were absolutely outstanding - with the reception staff changing our sheets when I spilt water on the bed! Wonderful Boutique hotel

This was probably one of the nicest boutique hotels we have stayed in with amazing friendly staff. Great location to explore the city. Wonderful breakfast and complementary cakes and coffee throughout the day. The property was a wonderful peaceful haven of calm to return to after exploring the busy city. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and chic. Highly recommend

The Building was incredible and gave a real sense of history. The owners have restored it beautifully and are still working on additional areas but this didn't impact the current rooms or our stay at all. The location couldn't have been better for all transport options and it is right in the centre of the historic old town in any case, so all the sights were within walking distance as were the seafront and port area. I would highly recommend Palazzo del Poeta for a stay in Palermo and would choose it again if I return.

This property, which has been newly renovated, is a true work of art. Entering from a narrow street, you are immediately immersed into a space that is a modern take on the timeless architecture of this district. The touches of exposed stone walls along with artful lighting and playful objects d'art make the lobby a dramatic entry into an impeccably refurbished hotel. This is a small boutique property, with each room uniquely and beautifully furnished. Our room was very spacious, and even had a soaking tub in the bedroom area. The bed was heavenly and the room incredibly quiet. We wish we had more time to have stayed in this jewel of a hotel!

Initial impression good - renovated property in a good location close to the centre of the old town. Essentially it is a BnB - staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast was typical Sicilian - sweet pastries and option of hot breakfast, but only eggs. The downside - threadbare towels, housekeeping only average - bathroom cleanliness especially shower inadequate although addressed when brought to their attention. Expensive - overall lacks value for money.

The facility itself was beautiful. Rarely saw staff. Breakfast was quite nice. Trying to find a bottle of water was challenging. Trash was not emptied from the kitchen area from previous guest. The biggest problem was the water. Not being able to get it for a drink. The smell of all the scents in the place was a bit much

Beautiful hotel with many different rooms to explore and to enjoy a drink in. The hotel had many hidden rooms that took a few days to discover. Do check out the rooftop terrace! Breakfast included was delicious with great variety - coffee and snacks all day. Rooms were clean and maintained. The staff were attentive to our needs. Do not hesitate to ask questions and ask for restaurant recommendations! Location: quick access to buses. Close to mini markets. In summary, this hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Palermo. The hotel is beautiful including artwork and vibe. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Area for improvement: missing a mini-refrigerator in the rooms to keep beverages cold during hot summer months.
