When we arrived you had to walk up a narrow staircase. The person that checked us in didn’t offer to help with our luggage. The narrow staircase was very difficult to go up with our luggage. I almost fell backwards several times.
It was so noisy that it was very difficult to fall asleep through out the night. Around 7 am the noise started even more louder. Monday and Tuesday children were going to school and the noise from them was really bad. When they started school you heard from the floor above us like furniture dragging across the floor.
Checking out again no offer to help with our luggage. Would not stay there again. Would not recommend it!

We loved the location of the property. We had arrived early and the room was ready if we wanted to pay extra but we decided not to. The location is what sold the property to us- very convenient as we were only there for one night and wanted to see as much as we could. There’s lots of restaurants and bars nearby as well as little shops and of course the cathedral is opposite and we had a lovely view of it from our room.

The location was ideal. It was very clean, quiet and the owner was friendly.
Our room did not have a city view or any real view at all. The window was in one corner with an air conditioning pipe going through it.
The toilet had a pump system which was noisy and the shower tray filled very quickly. The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Overall it was good but would have been even better if we'd had a window with a view.

Location is prefect but property sound proof is non existing. Very noisy in the morning.
The staff and service is disappointing. Informed arrival time but no one was there. Need to message and call but still no reply. Need to wait at entrance for 15 mins.
Later was asked to pay cash and said credit card payment not working. When mentioned I don’t have enough cash, the staff requested me to go withdraw cash from machine.
Total paid is more than what quoted in Expedia website. And never return change as in assuming “keep the change” although it is not much but should have return the change and only keep it if the guest say so.

Dear Robby,We are sorry to read his considerations which are at odds with what happened.We are present and available with our customers, waits only occur when a time is established and the guest decides to arrive early. We require the total amount equivalent to the reservation, when we do not have the change we ask you to be kind enough to wait a few minutes to exchange money in the shops or bars close to the structure. Furthermore, payment can be made by credit card or cash. Sometimes it may happen that the POS may have difficulty receiving the line and in this case, considering the intolerance or tiredness shown to us, we offered her the online bank payment which at first was fine with her and then she suddenly changed her mind again by paying in cash. We are sorry.

The property is beside the cathedral, with a short walk to the Royal Palace and other sights. The Central Station is about a 10min walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location was good. However every morning very noisy as it is right next to a school, where teenagers congregate in the mornings.

Nice stay
Posted 13 Mar 2023 on HotelsI had a great weekend stay. I will say that I booked 2 beds, but was given only one bed. We would have preferred our own beds. Otherwise a nice stay.

The hotel was too far away from any amenities, food and drink expensive. The pool was taped off at certain times during the day for no apparent reason. It didn’t feel like a five star hotel.

probabilmente ha sbagliato struttura, noi non siamo un hotel a 5 stelle ma un b&B a 3 stelle, ci troviamo nel cuore del centro storico, i servizi sono ben forniti e non abbiamo nessuna piscina. Certi di un equivoco le auguriamo un buon autunno.

Great location, lovely room, superb value
Posted 13 Nov 2019 on HotelsI vicini della cattedrale was an amazing bargain - I found it on hotels.com and it was £39 a night including breakfast. We had a huge room, views over the cathedral and gardens, good wifi, lovely bathroom and a great location. All it lacked was a kettle but I guess I'm just too bloody English! The location was superb, everything we wanted to see in the city was within 10 minutes walk and there were loads of cafes nearby. Service was excellent too and I still can't believe what good value it was!
