This property is away from the noise and traffic. The internal courtyard, around which the bungalows are situated, is calm, beautiful and begs one to relax on your porch or reclining by the pool. The restaurant is humble in its pretensions, but superb in its execution with some of the best local Thai food we have had (we live here) and good western standards as well. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. James, the on site manager, is a great source for local activities, will make connections to tour operators, and also provide color commentary on the region and its development. Great place to get away, relax and not worry about a thing!

We spent two nights at Eco Valley Lodge and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in a beautiful peaceful setting, and the accommodation is simple, clean and more than adequate. The restaurant has a varied Thai and European menu that suited the whole family (including two fairly picky teenagers) all at very reasonable prices.
What really made our time at Eco Valley special was the amazing service. We could not have been made to feel more welcome by James and his staff team, and it was a delight to spend two days in their company. I would fully recommend Eco valley to anyone looking to visit the nearby Khao Yai national park, which is only a short drive away.

Nice cosy lodge. Staff are friendly. Making you feel at home.
Great stay. Comfortable relaxing.
Room lighting is warm but a little too dim for kids.

Hotel manager James, is so approachable, helpful and friendly. We received helpful information about the place way before our stay here. We love how peaceful and quaint the place is. We also love the huge 3 bedroom villa, just nice for our family of nine. Thank you for all the hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Just book it! Really friendly place!
Posted 7 Aug 2018 on HotelsWe really, really loved this place. After getting the coach from Mochit in Bangkok, I was expecting to get dropped at Pak Chong coach station and jump in a taxi from there to the accommodation. However the coach dumped us at the side of the road near Tesco, where there were no taxis in sight... I phoned Eco Valley Lodge in a bit of a panic as I had no idea where I was other than "near Tesco", James the manager came and picked us up despite being on his way out for dinner, he got us checked in and sorted, and then made a point of coming and having a beer with us once we were settled in and he was back from his dinner date. It's a lovely informal place, very clean and heaps of fresh towels etc. The beds are really comfy, the pool a nice temperature and the food is really fabulous. We ate Thai all the time, and everything was fresh, hot, and cooked to order. The staff (both Thai and Western) are lovely, and there is a real feeling of peace and calm. The philosophy is "if you need something, just ask" which is great. We sat up playing music with James and also booked a mini-tour with him to go for an elephant ride and see a bat cave. The resort is a little off the beaten path, down a country road, but don't let that put you off, and they rent moutain bikes. They are also willing to help you book tours with Green Leaf etc for Khao Yai, and also offer their own bespoke options for a little more money.

Quiet resort in the remote area
Posted 6 Mar 2018 on HotelsThe hotel is located in the remote area far from restaurants and services. It's advisable to go there by own vehicle. The rooms are starting to be quite old and in need of renovation. The bed was also very uncomfortable. There are plenty of better options in Khao Yai in this price range.

Good place to stay for a weekend!
Posted 11 Dec 2016 on HotelsGreat stay at eco valley lodge. Helpful stafff. Nice to hang out and relax at the restaurant or by the pool. When we were there there were lots of families and children who were loud all day and all night. Not the hotels fault. Also very hard to get places. Not in the city of pak Chong, it's about 15-20 minutes away. They have a driver who will drive you into pak Chong for 300 Baht one way. Would highly recommend renting a motorbike or car to get around. Other than that, had a lovely stay here.
