Lovely hotel in a great position. The staff were all very nice and helpful The food was excellent. The only thing to remember is the fact that men aren’t allowed to wear shorts or tracksuit bottoms at dinner. It’s not a big deal, but just remember to pack long trousers for your stay.

Another Excellent Stay
Posted 22 Aug 2023 on HotelsThis was the second year in row that I stayed at the XQ El Palacete. I travel a lot for business and leisure and I believe this is one of the best hotels in Europe. The reception staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The chefs and dining room staff were first class. The food was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view from the balcony was spectacular. When I go to the Canary Islands, this is the only hotel where I will stay. I'm already looking forward to next year's stay! Thank you again, XQ El Palacete, for another relaxing vacation!

Superb beach frontage Hotel
Posted 8 Feb 2018Lovely hotel with the 'prime' location in Morro Jable -just stunning; overlooking a sandy beach miles long and clear sea - breathtaking views and walks. As you move away from the center of Morro Jable and this hotel, towards the bigger hotels, you lose the charm of this little fishing village and the surroundings are not as nice and the beach is a bit of a trek, especially for kids .
Very close to great restaurants/bars and more importantly for a windy island, the south facing room balconies are totally protected from windy conditions-perfect. Top floor is worth the extra.
Staff can't do enough and food is very good in the hotel. Sparking wine on arrival and at breakfast on the terrace is an added bonus - worthy of a mention as it rounds off the hotel's attention to detail.
Think it deserves a 5 star!!
Two very impressed and satisfied customers..already planning to go back along with all the other guests we spoke to.

Lovely relaxing hotel with beautiful views

Short walk to the beautiful beach
Every room has a view
It would be made better if there was a bed and breakfast option as although the food was very good it would be nice to try other restaurants occasionally.

Wonderful Hotel
Posted 18 Dec 2016 The XQ Palacete Hotel is an excellent small boutique type hotel on the southern most tip of Fuerteventura away from the crowds found in many other resorts. Whilst predominately German clientele there are also some from the UK so the staff speak both languages. Set on the edge of the village of Morra Jable it is ideally placed above the golden sandy beach with a great elevated position facing south with a great terrace and pool area. Breakfast outside on the terrace is a must and plenty warm enough even in December. It's rooms are comfortable and very clean and the staff very attentive. Everyone welcomed us and made us feel very special for the entire week. The food was excellent as was the wine list!
I would have no hesitation recommending this lovely hotel and intend to revisit as soon as possible being only 4 hrs from Gatwick.

Excellent Small Hotel
Posted 14 Jul 2016 on HotelsLovely hotel - all rooms have a sea view. We booked a premium room which included Nespresso machine and room safe and had been recently refurbished. Food in the hotel is excellent and there is a quiet calm atmosphere in the restaurant - not the canteen type chaos of some of the larger hotels we have stayed in. Hotel guests are 90% German which wasn't a problem. Don't come here if you expect entertainment - the bar area is deserted in the evenings. Quality sun loungers and mattresses and always some free whatever the time of day. The beach is beautiful and you can walk for miles - if you're looking for a complete rest then this is ideal

The Hotel is in a lovely position above the beach at Morro Jable. A small hotel with a lovely atmosphere, great service and good food.
