Bamboo hut was neat to stay in the outside patio was nice to sit and relax. Property was close to elephant camps and hot springs. Breakfast could be better, fried eggs, toast, hot dog, bacon and instant coffee.

Good service and peaceful staycation
Posted 24 Nov 2016 on HotelsThe lady at reception counter can speak good English which really helps a lot in communication. I forgot to return the charging converter, she called and told me it's ok, such a kind person. The hotel helps to send luggage to the bus terminal which is also a good service that I'd appreciate. However it'd be better if the hotels own some bikes so that we don't need to travel to town to rent the bikes.

A riverfront oasis away from the buzz
Posted 7 Nov 2016
Pros: This is a peacefull, well maintained resort offering all the confort you need for a relaxing stay, surronded with the vibe of the jungle. Beautifull contryside landscape, teck wood original villas, some up there in trees, some in front of the river. Staff helpfull and always willing to transport you all around. They have excellent food at the restaurant : you might not even want to go in town !
Cons: Nothing to complain about : that was princess life
Location: A few kilometers away from down town, location is perfect to get away from it and be part of the nature around

HELL had a lovely view.

Pros: The shuttle bus driver was very sweet and friendly, he has a lovely smile, he picked me up from the bus stop and dropped me off at my new hotel, free of charge. The resort is very pretty and a great place to stop by during the day to take some photos. The staff, when they're around, are accommodating and did upgrade my room.
Cons: It's nowhere near the center of Pai. This wouldn't be a problem if the last free shuttle bus home was at about 10pm, but it's at 8pm which is ridiculous.
The huts on the river and even the more expensive (I presume) rooms elsewhere in the resort have huge 3-4 inch gaps at the bottom and in some cases the top of the doors, which means your room will be full of bugs and who knows what else.
Both rooms I was given did not contain a mosquito net, despite nearly all the pictures of Pai Tree House on Expedia showing beds with mosquito nets. The resort is next to a lake - ALL rooms should have mosquito nets.
The rooms felt old, shabby and dirty.
Both rooms I tried had a TV, but there was only 1 channel available - what TV has ONLY ONE WORKING CHANNEL? Why even say the rooms have TVs, it's misleading.
The receptionist leaves at about 8pm. If you have any problems or issues after this time... unless you're prepared to scream the resort down, you're on your own.
The free breakfast is beyond lousy, there's no buffet or choice its just a plate of whatever the 'chef' feels like giving you. I would rather go hungry than eat what I was given.

Wonderful hotel away from the noise
Posted 10 Jun 2016 on HotelsWonderful resort. The grounds are beautiful. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were large. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town this is the place. My only complaint is during the day there are lots of people coming to look at the resort (they are everywhere). I would of liked to been able to go and read a book with out people all over, who are not even staying on property. Other than that great place. They even have a free ride into town.

Nice hotel away from main town.
Posted 19 Mar 2016Not a soul here during my 3 nights. Cool room and beautiful setting. Breakfast included but it's what ever the chef or local cook wants to make you with a light coffee bar at your disposal. It was the off season so I'm sure it picks up. Got a room away from the hustle and bustle of the below area... Early AM starts with van loads of tourists that come and take pictures of the grounds and elephant rides though the area by river. No real complaints, great place to relax during off season. Thanks Pai treehouse.

Pros: Staff, location, and food
Cons: Heater in your room
Location: Five km from town, easy to deal with,
Great staff, food, and atmosphere. A little cold at night. So be prepared for that. Otherwise wonderful!

Best hotel in Pai
Posted 12 Dec 2015The Treehouse is one of the best and most unique places to stay in Pai. The property is very large and runs along the Pai river. The landscaping is beatutifully done and is meticulously maintained. The room was pretty cool, completely built out of wood and in a tree. They even had those human nests things hanging from the trees! Elephants from a nearby camp walk through the resort a couple times a day. Really cool.
The restaurant in the resort was cheap and very delicious. We ate there 3-5 times.
The room was comfortable. Came equipt with a medium sized fridge, a/c, and old tube TV. The bathroom was large. Only weird thing to me was is had a shower/tub combo, but no shower curtain. Other than that, great room.
