"Dated but very comfortable room where everything worked as it should. Reception was helpful eg lending us umbrellas. We liked complimentary drinks for no housekeeping. Breakfast was superb and delicious in very pleasant surroundings but the only evening bar snacks offered were frozen pizzas. The restaurant seemed pricey. Overall, would recommend. "

"Easy street parking especially during the day. Excellent room, spacious, little fridge, coffee and tea. Nice view. Very friendly staff and also other travelers were kind. For some reason our door did not close (possibly my error because it is a soliddoor and lock) and it was open from 3-8pm. Other guests let the receptionist know who came up to close it. Nothing was stolen. Public transportation is excellent and Downtown is in walking distance (20 minutes). "

"The hotel is just outside the city centre (10 min walk) and if wanted easy to reach by public transport. Employees are friendly and correct. Price / value combination was just fine. Parking was underneath the hotel and also electric car loaders were availiblr"

"The hotel is situated in a courtyard off a side road and is therefore a very quiet area. Central Leipzig is just a short walk away. Also the S-Bahn station and trams are located close to the hotel, and the rail station is not too far away. The hotel is clean and very well presented. My room look new/modernised and was a very good size with a large bathroom too. Staff were friendly and helpful. "A short 2 night stay, the room was very spacious with 2 large single beds, tea/coffee making facilities and mini fridge. The buffet breakfast was very nice plenty of choice with hot and cold options. The restaurant meals were very nice, very tasty and well cooked and not overpriced. There was a small supermarket nearby but other than this there wasn’t a lot of other shops, cafes or restaurants nearby"

"We were just passing through Altenburg staying for one night so booked this based on price rather than aesthetic appeal and had no expectations of greatness. We were very pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room was large and clean with a good bathroom. The bar also helped things along. Overall I would recommend this hotel, it is much better than the picture would suggest. "

"Eigentlich eine schöne, urige italienische Unterkunft aber beim Checkout gab es mit dem Bezahlen Probleme. Ich hatte meine Rewards-Punkte zum bezahlen eingelöst und Expedia hat bestätigt, dass alles vorab bezahlt ist. Beim Checkout wollte der Hotelier nochmal den Übernachtungspreis im bar von mir haben. Zum Glück konnte ich dies via Expedia-Hotline klären, sodass ich nicht 2x bezahlen musste. Das war ein bisschen unangenehm!"
