Hotel was wonderful and the management and staff are very kind and loving. I was feeling myself as If I’m home. I was amazed at the wonderful treatment of animals at the hotel and how well stray animals are treated, and the staff are really animal lovers. The view was also so beautiful because of the ocean view and the sound of waves was so peaceful.

Room was actually ok. Felt like they were trying. However, son’s sheets were dirty. The bathroom really needs help! The toilet seat was too small for the toilet. The faucet was corroding, the counter around the sink was falling apart. There was no hot water. The breakfast was very nice.

Very eco-friendly. Zero plastic waste from rooms! Beautiful location great pool and dive tank, good food, helpful and friendly staff and great view! Air-conditioning works great too. Room also has fridge and hairdryer (and tv if for some reason you need it!)

Eco-friendly with refillable 19 L water jugs in rooms instead of disposed plastics, do not use throw away shampoo or body wash plastics and laundry of room stuff every 2nd day which is all you actually need! Beautiful pool and dive tank for the scuba diver, great location across from beach. Great staff. Cozy clean room with balcony and good sea view. Next time I'll learn to dive!

Padangbai is a mafia town - AVOID!
The hotel itself was great. Olivier, the manager, is a good guy. The problem was the town in which the hotel is located (Padangbai), which is controlled by the mafia. They monopolize taxis, shuttle busses, fast boats, and ferries out of Padangbai. They harass and intimidate all online taxis (eg. Grab) and metered taxis (eg. Blue Bird). Most refuse to even enter the town. When I was leaving Padangbai, I arranged a Grab, and the driver told me to walk 10 mins out of town to meet him. The mafia followed me on motorbikes the entire way, and when I reached the Grab driver, the mafia threatened him with physical violence and damage to his car until he drove away. Then the mafia guy got one of his buddies to bring his car around and said he would drive me for 400,000 rupiah. I refused and kept walking. He said 350,000 and I refused again. He said 300,000 (the same price as the Grab) and I accepted. I didnt have much of a choice; they scared off my Grab and were still stalking me so I couldn't call another. They said they would do the same with a Blue Bird taxi. So I got in, arrived at my destination, then the driver demanded 400,000. That's not what I had agreed to. We went into the hotel and the staff translated. Apparantly, the mafia guy had told his buddy 400,000 and told me 300,000 - and the buddy had already paid the mafia guy 200,000 as a "finders fee." The mafia guy lying to us was bad, but extorting the driver for 200,000 for stalking us and scaring off our Grab was worse.

Restaurant food was really good and breakfast was included in my package. It is right on the beach, it has a nice cool which they used to teach diving. It's a little rundown, and right on crazy busy road.

Fatastic location, comfortable room, good service
Fantastic location, right on the harbour, and near plenty of other places to eat. Hotel food was also good, and complimentary breakfast was substantial, with good choice. Steep stairs to first floor rooms, very comfortable, but small bathroom. We even had harbour glimpses from our balcony. Good air con, good range and reception for satellite TV (incl English channels), but wifi was patchy or even non-existant at peak times. Even though we were not divers, it was still a great place to stay and outside decor added atmosphere, and real holiday feel the moment we stepped inside.

cute resort,staff unpleasant and badly organized
the resort is located in front of the sea port which is very nice, and there are two beautiful beaches within easy walking distance. as soon as we arrived the staff initially welcomed us well, then they behaved very badly promising that we would have done a day of snorkling but instead they invented all excuses for not making us do as if the money sucked, which among other things very expensive.the newly arrived room was very dirty, with a toothbrush on the ground and flies and ants everywhere. the restaurant is very expensive staff friendly but very slow. there are many restaurants nearby that are not taxed. if it had not been for the staff so unpleasant and false we would have returned.but never again!!!!

This hotel was nice. It was a great location as a starting point to travel to the Gilis. It was less than a five minute walk to the ferry terminal. The room had everything we needed, including a water container. We stayed in the room facing the water, which offered a great balcony to relax on. The spa was also nice. The massage was great for the price.
