We spent two nights at Pacific Grove Inn during our trip to California. The room was spacious, well equipped and was very clean. The location is fantastic, lots of restaurants within walking distance, grocery stores and a really good coffee shop down the road. Lovers point is a short walk, the Pacific Grove entrance gate to the 17-mil drive is only three mins away and the Monterey Bay aquarium is 5mins away. The house is located opposite to the police station and that also makes you feel extra safe. The only downside is there is no fridge in the room, there is a communal fridge in the main house. It was an hassle as we were travelling with a toddler who needs milk early in the morning. Another point to note is that there is no one on site to help with check-in etc. All messages were replied to really quickly so not a big deal.

Please issue a refund. Had to find another place at last minute because this was a fraud deal. A very small room was given in an another building which I refused and they cancelled after my complaints about the checkin and location Requesting Expedia to refund and remove this listing as it is nothing close to what is shown in pictures

We would like to clarify that the reservation was made through a third-party platform, Expedia, and any modifications or cancellations must be processed through them. We have communicated you via phone call, text message, and expedia chat to request the cancellation. However, we did not cancel your reservation directly, as it was managed by Expedia.We are sorry to inform you that, as your reservation and payment were handled through Expedia and the reservation was not cancelled, we are unable to approve a refund on our end.We appreciate your understanding.

A decent location, but place felt like a boarding house. The room had ancient furniture and carpet, not very clean. The TV remote was sticky and disgusting, had to use it with a washcloth wrapped around. The shower was ridiculously outdated and barely useable, with a trickle of water - don't blame the CA low-flow regs! Building needs some serious TLC and updating. It's Pacific Grove, a year-round tourist destination, they aren't hurting for income, invest and improve!

The property is very nice, parking was plentiful. It’s an older house that has been well maintained. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Check in is via key code and there was no issue. I can’t really give more than four stars regarding staff and service as I had no physical experience with any of the staff. We would stay here again
