Room situated above Hugo's Terrace - exceptionally loud in the evenings - even with Soundproof Glass/ Door blocking majority of noise. Still very loud

Service was poor always had to phone several times for tea,milk,water, reception seem not to care about customers and take time to respond,disappointment with the service.Also gave us one card to open room was inconvenient for us, all other hotels where we travel always give 2 cards.

Great location to the beach but hotel very dark. Coffee maker in the room, limited coffee and milk given. Well equipped room

Where to start? -room wasn’t cleaned one day, when staff confronted they refused to even give clean towels. ‘Can’t help housekeeping have gone home’ -‘clean’ towels smelled like vinegar -sink in bathroom was leaking. They claimed to fix it and just left a few towels on the floor -‘all day dining’ room service actually finishes at 11pm -whole place is run down. Various features in the room weren’t working properly and letters falling off signs etc -staff unhelpful at all times. They even put the phone down on me and then refused to pick up when I called back, had to go down to reception to speak to them. Not as though I was being rude either -extremely noisy area. Can’t listen to your own music or hear anyone speak on the balcony in the evenings. Can even hear a bass line indoors overnight coming from neighbouring bars until the early morning -rooftop pool is small and barely any room for hotel guests (given they let non residents in too) -no apology or acknowledgment from staff of any of the issues mentioned Dont stay here - it will ruin your holiday!

We are, of course, not happy to see this low rating, and to notice that our service was below your expectations - we promise to look into your comments carefully, inform the Management and do our best to improve, having the satisfaction of our customers as our ultimate aim. However, allow us to kindly look back on some things that were mentioned, and provide our responses: -the room was not cleaned one day - the room was on a 'do not disturb mode', and in such cases, we respect your privacy and we are not allowed to enter, nor clean your room; - the staff refused to give clean towels - as per our verified records, the reception staff provided clean towels late in the evening, upon your request; - leaking in the room - we are aware that this occurred and we understand the inconvenience and impact on your overall impression - please accept our apology for this issue; - the noise issue - the hotel is in the center of the entertainment area, with various clubs, bars, and restaurants surrounding it, which leaves us with limited options of controlling such external noise; however, the suite you had booked is one of the quietest rooms available; We also feel that it is not ethical to claim that we were refusing to take your calls, but we are glad that you've had an opportunity to meet our Rooms Division Manager, and discuss all these things further. Your request of the late check-out was acknowledged, and we did extend it as much as possible, given the fact that we were fully booked that day, and needed to prepare the room for newly arriving guests. However, all your comments are appreciated, and we are truly sorry for not offering you a more pleasant stay this time. Rest assured that we take your feedback into account, and constantly work on enhancements. In case you change your mind and consider to visit us again, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly, and we will go out of our ways to follow up on your stay, and offer you a much better experience. I had a great stay, the hotel is one minute far from the beach, has a very nice pool and SPA, the rooms are big, clean and modern, breakfast with many options, staff very polite and professional. I highly recommend this hotel ❤️

It was a great place! I really enjoyed my stay. If there was something that I would change would be the temperature on the rooms. I found it t me a bit on the cooler side. I had a massage from Viktoria at the spa which was amazing

Booked the signature corner suite for a hot tub outside & it was broken due to an ongoing issue with the electric mains. This rooms also comes with a jacuzzi inside the room which again was faulty. All in all if you book these kind of rooms that are expensive you would hope the facilities would work & more importantly what you pay for. Can’t recommend a positive as didn’t get what I was paid for I’m afraid. Awaiting to hear from Hugo Hotel their response as this was all booked for our anniversary & ended up just being unhappy with this Hotel so won’t return.

No good if you’re over 25….

Gone down hill massively. Hotel care more about the day guests and getting money out of you than making sure you have a nice stay. Consistently treated like school kids who have done something wrong. The area being so lively doesn’t help but when that’s not the holiday you are having it does feel like you’re an inconvenience. Hosted parties everybody we were there which was loud and chaotic. Rooms aren’t sound proof so can gear outside noise until 4am…. Shane really as it used to be a nice place. Priorities are now all wrong, would not return
