"I had a one night stay in Chiang Mai to tour the temple's. I arrived super early and couldnt check into my airbnb yet. I booked this location last minute. With the limited time I had, the location to the places i wanted to visit were super close. The tik tok Viral Lalitta Cafe wasn't far from it either. While the property is showing signs of age, the lobby and restaurant are well-kept and quite impressive. It's on the upper floors where the building’s age is more noticeable. "Very good stay. Clean and everything near by. We carry little clothes so the coin laundry across street was awesome. 7/11 near by and at least 2 restaurants on same block. Felt very safe. Recommend you go see lalita cafe. Don’t leave Chiang Rai without see that cafe. Staff and service was great. "

"This is truly a five star resort. The rooms and every part of the resort are spotless and the staff goes out of their way to handle every request and follows through on everything. "Grand Vista is away from downtown on a busy road, although the traffic noise wasn’t apparent in our room or at the pool. There’s a large modern mall across the highway, accessed by a foot bridge, with food courts, restaurants, grocery store and shops. The old city is a short Grab ride away. Our room was large, clean and serviced daily. A very enjoyable staff."

"Absolutely amazing property and a perfect size for 3 of us (it does fit more). The owner is really lovely and very helpful. Nice relaxing area, brilliant views and sounds of the wildlife. The area would be better with a car but its accessible by grab too which is how we managed it as a family of three :D A microwave in the room would be a really good addition. We were very happy with our stay. We will be back next year. Thank you xx"

Don’t go if you want a twin room and clean bedcove

"Basic motel style but no twin rooms, the price at the place was 600baht for a single and 1200 for a double so we asked to change to 2 singles, which caused mayhem and we kept being put on the phone to someone who spoke English but still said we’d have to pay extra, eventually the lady took us to a suitable room but no top sheets and the bedcover was filthy. The shower was great though and bathroom clean, no bedside lights."
