A last minute change was required due to a maintenance problem at the apartment originally booked. A nearby alternative equal to the original was provided at no extra charge. 20 minute bus to center of Oxford.

Pictures do not tell the story!

Second bedroom is about 6sqm. No soaps or shampoos. Massive cleaning fee, yet, you have to ensure kitchen is left as it was found. NOT worth the cost. I will not return to this accommodation.

Had you have let us know we could have bought some shampoo and soap straight to the apartment for you, unfortunately this was an oversight of our cleaning team on this occasion. The cleaning fee we charge is to clean and set the apartment with bedding and towels. We do politely ask guests to leave the apartment as they found it. Very nice and clean little apartment close to downtown Oxford. Had almost everything you need, even a little apartment-size washer/dryer. I think it was newly refurbished, so did have a couple of things missing: no pepper in the pepper shaker, no spices in the spice rack, and it could use a couple of small furniture items to set things on like suitcases and bathroom towels in the bathroom, but other than that it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely come here again. Owners are gracious and helpful.

Far from city center

Very far away from the city center, about a 30 minute walk. Apartment and staff was nice. One bedroom was very, very, small, basically a closet with a bed in it, had to climb on the bed in enter the room. Some mold in the bathroom. Not the best, wish we stayed closer to the city.

Rana Apartments is very popular with guests who need access to the John Radcliffe Hospital, but as you correctly identify it is a short drive/bus ride into town. The property is situated in a convenient location for transportation, and groceries shopping. The property staff was nice, responsible and assessable. We had a few issues with the flat and they sent a handyman the morning following out check-in night. The property was clean and well stocked with linen and paper supplies. Kitchen is stocked with necessities like utensils, not a lot but meets daily needs. Our major complaint is that the place is not well maintained. We had the following issues which were unresolved as of out check-out day: 1) designated parking space was occupied by other cars. I thought this should have been resolved by out second night of stay. 2) the laundry washer was not operable. Coin operated launderettes were inconvenient and expensive in the neighborhood.

We were pleased to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay at the apartment and that you found the location and facilities met your expectations well. We can only apologise for the issues you experienced with the parking and the washing machine. As you note, we did send out our Facilities Co-Ordinator as soon as possible to look at the washing machine. As it turns out, the problem was more serious than we first thought, unfortunately we were unable to fix it during the time you were staying with us. The parking problem, was unusual, however we did find an alternative space for you to use but I can only imagine that this was very frustrating at the time and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
