Great location (except current closure of bridge makes a taxi journey back from city at night expensive). Lovely owner and staff. Great, and generous, selection of breakfasts. Rooms comfortable and everything you need but could do with updating.

The heater was virtually not working. We made a complaint but that did not change anything. We could not sleep because the room was very cold throughout.

Thank you for your review and we are sorry you feel the hotel was not warm enough. When you called reception, we checked the radiator in your room, which was working well. Radiators have individually controlled thermostats and we turned your radiator setting to maximum. Please note it is not normal to have heating on throughout the night in the UK.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by its excellent location, close to the station and incredibly convenient to explore Oxford.
The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to offer valuable advice on the best things to see and do in the city. Breakfast was a highlight, especially while enjoying views of the river and garden.
Overall it was an enjoyable stay in Oxford.

Clean, comfortable and friendly! Close to transportation and a 10min walk to the city center. Breakfast was wonderful! Lovely little sitting room stocked with drinks and snacks was an added bonus. Would definitely stay there again.
