A superb place to relax and unwind from city life. Extremely warm welcome and excellent service throughout our stay. Aicha and Nordin go above and beyond. Highly recommend this place

Peaceful, beautiful and Welcoming :)

Warm, cosy and amazing hosts. The setting is picturesque, overlooking olive trees, gently swaying in the Essaouiran wind. The food there is incredible, authentic and rustic (most vegetables sourced from the garden!) They were sure to take care of me and welcome me in with open arms. Will definitely be back again!

GREAT HOSTS AND SMALL HOTEL IN COUNTRY

The owners, Nordeen and Aisha, made us feel like family from the start. They gave us complimentary sandwhiches and tea and joined us for the two breakfasts at the side of the large pool. The room was very ample, well heated and had non stop hot water. Though the botigue hotel is 15 km. from the center of Essaouria, it is served by a good bus company and taxis. At the end the owner took us to the city to catch our bus. The day before we drove into town together as a courtesy and to meet a retired friend who had taught English. The breakfast was basic and could benefit from an egg, cereal, fruit and milk. Too much bread! The hotel, with many common areas and gardens makes a great impression. We would definitely return to explore the historic city and surroundings further. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My daughter, sister and I had a really lovely and relaxing stay here. We felt welcomed and at home immediately. The pool was outstanding as it was hot. Even staying out a bit from the city was no problem, bus and taxis are cheap and easy to access. Loved it and would recommend this stay to others.

Relax and rejuvenate

Pros: The staff - absolutely amazing! Very child-friendly, great for families. Our children loved the swimming pool and seeing the peacocks and guinea fowl
Location: Drive to the city centre in 15-20 minutes. Visit Sidi Kaouki, a wonderful beach for surfing, which is about 10-15 minutes.
Here you can relax and unwind. It's an oasis of calm. We made full use of the swimming pool and the hosts were absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will stay there again when we visit Essaouira. You can look forward to personal service and a wonderful stay.

Rural Morocco - Essouiria nearby!

Pros: Joel, who runs the place is superb; a great cook and great company. He is an intellectual who is also great company. Brilliant for families.
Cons: Perhaps more details on how to go to and return from Essouiria.
Location: Essaouiria is 20 mins away on the bus or 10 mins in Grand Taxi.
This is a great place to stay. You are able to watch rural Morrocan life from a great balcony and yet nip into Essouiria for 30 pence on the local bus and taxi back for £4.00. The pool is brilliant, the rooms great and the food amazing. Best of all is Joel who looks after the place - he's a great cook too. Fantastic to watch the Milky Way drift overhead with no light pollution at all.
