Posted 19 Mar 2023 on HotelsWonderful Guest House - great value, service, helpfulness and friendliness from the staff. Beautiful gardens and 2 pools! Very good breakfast. Cannot rate it high enough.

-The man host was extremely rude. He actually questioned us on being late for check in!
- there were no porters to help with the baggage.
- the hotel did not have electricity for 5 - 6 hours and they did not have any kind of backup power either so we had to sit in the heat, could not charge our phones, have a hot cup of team or take a hot shower that morning.
- This is not a hotel, but is actually someones house converted to a guesthouse.
- definitely not worth the price.

Posted 12 Feb 2012 on HotelsWhat a delightful house, set in the most beautiful garden, just a short walk from the town centre. The accommodation was superb - really luxurious and the receptionist could not have been more helpful. Excellent breakfast - we were made to feel really special. Many thanks; we will definitely be back when we return to Oudtshoorn.
