Seems more geared to domestic tourists....few people speak English. Extensive amount of walking. You get a ride in on a golf cart, and are to leave your luggage unattended for cart pick up...they leave it at the parking lot if you have a car. Be sure to get your car to checkout so you save a long walk up. Food is ok . Buffets are quite impersonal as you are expected to sit at tables for 8 unless you have a premier program. We dis enjoy the swimming areas. Overall a fairly good stay. Would recommend this place for activities coupled with a stay right in Otranto as there is a beach right in the town.

Food is HORRIBLE

The setting is gorgeous! A bit crowded but swimming beaches are fantastic! The full board food was awful. Breakfast was ok. Lunch and dinner was awful, not authentic. Fish and pork were dry, pastas had no flavor. My husband and I left the hotel and ate at local restaurants near by even though the food was included at the hotel. The morning bar staff were rude when buying a cappuccino in the morning and the cappuccino was also luke warm. Music was loud all day till 1:00 a.m. in the morning. We could not sleep. We complained but nothing was done.

Our menu includes several types of pasta and rice, vegetables, meat and fish, fruits and cakes, everything in a great buffet "all-you-can-eat". We certainly are sorry for your feelings about food and bartender. About the music, we can confirm that the resident manager took care of your complain, lowing the music, but we couldn't stop it due to the great participation of all other guests. Die Unterkunft war ganz okay, Sauberkeit was nicht hervorragend und Service was eher auf das minimum orientiert. Essen und Strand was in Ordnung. Liegenstühle auf dem Sandstrand waren Kostenpflichtig. Getränke im Buffet nur an 2-3 Automaten im ganzen Restaurant zu haben, dadurch entstanden Schlangen um Wasser zu holen, welche bis zu 10 Minuten Wartezeiten beanspruchten.

Animazione troppo chiassosa e servizi aggiuntivi che dovrebbero essere inclusi. Inoltre in alternativa al ristorante a menù buffet a pranzo non c’è praticamente nulla

Voglio prendere la residenza alle Cale! Top!

E' la seconda volta che torniamo alle Cale e già ci mancano tantissimo! Tutto lo staff è grandioso, dal mitico chef Claudio, al pasticciere, al simpatico bagnino Pino, la memoria storica delle Cale, i ragazzi dell'animazione che chiamarli animatori è quasi un'offesa visto che in realtà sono super professionisti,performer, ballerini etc, cito Luigi, Manuel ma sono tutti strepitosi! Il posto è un paradiso, mi raccomando mantenetelo sempre cosi'! L'unica critica che si può fare è sempre la stessa, le camere grazie all' architetto Gae Aulenti sono caratteristiche ma non sono il massimo del confort ma con tutto quello che avrete intorno ci passerete solo qualche ora la notte!
