The room was ok but could of done with air con ideally, and not ideal for someone staying and off early when other guests are shouting each other and being loud till 23-30

This looked a nice place however room was dirty curtains bathroom bedside table inside the fridge skirting boards had pubic hairs in bathroom tv never worked stains on the walls breakfast was dreadful and sent back refunded breakfast as never ate it and offered 20% off room charge only stayed 5 hours from check in

The property has huge potential but is “quite tired”. Restaurant service was poor, considering it was quiet. One staff member was happy to share that it was being run without enough staff since the increase in NI costs.

Lovely woodland lodge, stayed in the same lodge twice now. Absolutely beautiful. Only thing missing was last year, there was a Christmas tree in the lodge but not this year, but only a minor detail.

The good bits: lovely wooded site; whole place was like a giant log cabin!; friendly, welcoming and helpful staff; cosy room with everything needed for an overnight stay. The not so good bits: dated bathroom; weird uneven floor in room; tired bed; noisy at certain times as close to exit door to the leisure and spa facilities - constant banging. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food or restaurant service.

We met up with our family on Sat night and were VERY disappointed that the site mgr told us the bar would be open until 11pm but closed it at 9.30pm and refused to servemore drinks. Other guests made same complaint. Other than him the staff were excellent.
