"My wife and I needed a place to stay in Lido di Ostia. I researched the internet for B&Bs in the area and came across La Dolce Sosta. Bless their hearts; to me, this particular unit is not a B&B. There was no one to greet us when we arrived and there were no instructions/signage on what to do if no one answered the door. "It is located in a suburban area. There are good walking trails and good restaurants. The apartment comes with a kitchen, but you have to pay for the use of everything in the kitchen, including the dishes and cutlery . This is not made very clear by Expedia! "This was a hotel we booked near the airport as we came in late a night prior to diving to the Amalfi coast. It"s clean, though the place could use an update as it looks very worn. There is free parking, the breakfast was fine, basically the essentials are there. Staff were friendly and checking in and out was simple and efficient. I"d say it's absolutely fine for a layover night but wouldn't use it for a long vacation."
