A Great Affordable Hotel
Posted 1 Jun 2021 on HotelsMy experience at Hotel Bero was overall very positive. The location was really great; a 5 minute walk from the beach is amazing for a vacation. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was really big. The staff were polite and informative. I would definitely go back for another visit if I'm ever in Ostend again.

Nice for a weekend place to sleep
Posted 30 Nov 2018 on HotelsNot the easiest place to find, and parking is extremely limited. We arrived around 10 p.m. only to find out we were supposed to reserve parking. Fortunately there is a public car park about 2 blocks away. We didn’t spend much time there during the day, so parking was much cheaper that way. The beds were fairly comfortable, but the room was a little cramped for 4 people. It was ok for us since we only slept there. Breakfast was nice - lots of meats and cheeses, fruit, etc. They also had eggs, sausage, and bacon, but the bacon seemed about half cooked, and it and the eggs were cold before I got to my table. Great selection of breads. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Probably the coffee.
Location: Near the seafront, transport, restaurants, shops
Great hotel, near to the beach, shops, and transport. The hotel was very clean with good size rooms. The aircon was much needed. Great shower that got a lot of use.Nice that a fridge was supplied too.From checkin to leaving everything was excellent. We didn't use the pool, sauna or steam room.
