Nice clean fully equipped suites. Pools and grounds were very well kept

Of course, damage deposit is a surprise. You pay $300 for stay, same for the damage deposit. Total of $600 dollars. Everyone needs a positive cash flow but common guys - be reasonable. I stay with a son, without a dog.
Unfortunately, damage deposit now it’s just a money grab. I have never been charged for damages in my life.
I think Expedia and other services must track this thing, so hotels would now whom
To charge and who has a potential risk. Charge $600 total for 2 nights at off season - is ridiculous.
Most stupid thing is: you charge now, and to wait for a return will take 3 weeks.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I would like to clarify that the incidental hold we take at check-in is a pre-authorization hold. It is not a purchase charge on your credit card. It is not used unless you create a balance owing by the end of your stay, via room service charges, etc.. The hold is released at check out, but it may possibly take a day or two to reflect in your account summary. I hope this information has helped clear things up :) We hope to be able to welcome you back in the future, and hope you enjoyed the rest of Osoyoos during your stay.
