"This is a beautiful historic hotel. Mustafa Ataturk stayed at this hotel as did many world known celebrities. The hotel had preserved the rooms that Ataturk used and now show them as a museum. "Our room was very much in need of refurbishment. Many areas were unacceptable. Dirty stained carpet. Bathroom grout needs replacing Grubby chair in our lounge area The list was long That said the staff were amazing especially Volcan who went the extra mile. "This is actually a Best Western property. It did not seem like one, however. It seems like a wonderful independent, small boutique hotel. The neighborhood is very safe with plenty of eating and shopping options. It is very walkable to all the major sights in historic Istanbul. Highly recommended for the price. "

"I had the most heartwarming experience after I got denied boarding to Thailand and had to stay unexpectedly in Istanbul melicine at the reception let me stay hours before in the room after a sleepless night and helped me all the way.
