I was very excited to stay here based on the pics of the rooms, it's location, and user reviews. So excited that I arrived a day early to pop in and look at the place as I passed by on the way to the beach. I saw my name on a big challenge board noting my reservation for the Red Room, which is a Deluxe Room as I booked. When I checked in on time, they gave me a key for a room called the Function Room. The function room is an empty room with two beds and a crude partition separating the room into two rooms. No horizontal surfaces to put your things on, no closet, no bathroom, no television. Just us, and another couple on the other side of a partition. I asked what happened to the red room? They told me a series of lies, which I knew we're lies because I was there talking to other staff the day before. Basically they admitted to me that they double booked the room. So I said, fine, that happens when you don't have a good system to manage bookings from different sites, but the room is simply unacceptable, and let me know please what we can do to give me the value that I paid for. He asked how much I paid, told me I PAID TOO MUCH, said that he "can not AMERICA the problem for me" and that I would have no luck anywhere else. I went to another hotel down the road that was lovely. I will get my money back from credit card or Orbitz.
