Stunning place. Located on the center place of a tiny village in a real “palazzo”, we enjoyed the peacefulness, the charm of the place, the high ceilings of the rooms, the friendly staff and the small swimming pool. But what made it very special for us was the “feeling home atmosphere” because of the ability to sit around in different areas, in the garden, in the communal living room or in a “salon”. Exceptional breakfast as well. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Would come back.

This was our favorite accommodation during our three-week honeymoon in Puglia. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and the facilities are beautiful--especially the garden and the rooftop terrace. We also really liked the little town in which the hotel is located, which is much less busy than neighboring Castro but has a few lovely restaurants and lots of free parking. Francesca gave us lots of great tips for beaches and restaurants in the area, and we regretted not having booked to stay longer. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely palazzo
Posted 7 Oct 2018 on HotelsThis is a lovely palazzo in a quiet village, but only 5 minutes drive from Castro. We were out of season so many of the local restaurants were closed, however the palazzo restaurant Casa Di Angelo, was fantastic & excellent value, obviously used by locals too. We would highly recommend eating here, especially their 6 course Fish starter selection. The palazzo is a little difficult to find as there is only a very small notice by the doorbell. Overall a lovely place with good facilities & a beautiful cat!

Amazing base to experience Puglia
Posted 26 Sep 2018 on HotelsA beautiful oasis located close enough to all the must see experiences within Puglia. Whether your interested in beaches, the history, the food or the wine, it’s all at your fingertips here. The team at the hotel are always on hand to help where required. Highly recommend a stay & hopefully one day we will stay again.

Quiet and peaceful
Posted 6 Jul 2018Lovely small hotel in centre of very small village square; car essential if you want to get around as just a couple of bars, restaurants and supermarket in village. Sea nearby. Hotel exactly as described serving wonderful breakfasts with excellent home made cakes. Our room, Edoudo had its own private garden but plenty of places to sit quietly in the gardens and roof top Terrace. Wonderful free spa. All Staff totally superb always friendly, smiling and helpful.

Probably the best hotel we've stayed so far! It's beautiful! We even extended our stay by one more night and would have extended for another if the room was available.
The location was perfect for us - in a tiny village but within walking distance to Castro - bigger town (around 20min walk on the roads). Hotel provides bikes at free of charge if walking is not an option.
We had Suite Tito - two bedrooms with a huge bathroom and shared terrace.
The hotel itself has a Jacuzzi tub on the roof so anyone can enjoy it. Also a spa room with turkish baths and the thermal pool which are also free of charge for hotel guests. Outdoor pool too with sun loungers. Big garden and also the rooftop area where everyone can relax and catch last bits of sun. Also private car parking.
Huge variety of breakfast options - fresh fruit, different kinds of cheese, meat options, vegetables, cereals, bread (also gluten free option) and cakes too!
The staff is very friendly! Would also like to thank hotel manager Mauro for taking care of our needs prior arriving to the hotel!
Will recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely stay there again!

Was mostly great
Posted 19 Jun 2018 on HotelsFirst of all the staff here are great , really helpful , very kind and all round great . The honesty bar is great and very handy. Breakfast was quite good . Could do with more bacon etc ! The rooms are lovely and spacious as are the communal areas . The pool is a nice little one , no doing laps ! However we stayed here 5 nights and I slept for maybe in total 8 hours or so . One night cny be helped due to thunderstorms but the other sleep shy nights were down to doors slamming , hearing other residents come and go and most of all the dogs barking nearby , bed wasn’t that comfy either . I do genuinely feel that’s it a great Hotel all round if only they could do something about the mattresses and the dogs !

Charming country palazzo
Posted 8 Jun 2018 on HotelsNice peaceful palazzo in a very small village. The staff was wonderful and the gardens and pool area were charming. The attached restaurant and cafe were the best (pretty much the only) places in town. Excellent choice for a relaxing holiday with driving proximity to other sights and the Adriatic.

If you want a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings this is the place to go. It is hidden behind a big wooden door like a secret world. And the food is gorgeous too.
