Staff at the front desk was friendly but the room looked nothing like the picture and was not clean at all.

This place was terrible. I understand the price was cheap but its not a bargain. We arrived at the property and took about 30 minutes to get helped. No one is at the front desk to help right away. You have to call and text to get some ones attention. Once we were helped we got to our room. The floor was dirty and the sheets were damp and didnt even seemed cleaned there was dirt and stuff in between them. My partner and i tried to make the best of the situation. We picked up cleaning supplies and cleaned the room for our stay. We came to found out there was cockroaches. They kept coming out of the applicances. Thats when we decided to get out of there we had to spent another 650 on another place for our week stay. They didnt make it right because all they want to do is give you another room that is just as bad. Only thing that would make it right is a refund wich they did not do. DO NOT STAY HERE. you will regret it.

Peta checked me in and there were some challenges, but they were overcome. I stayed here because pets were allowed with no additional fees, I did not read the reviews until after booking, the reviews were so bad, to be quite honest if it was a situation where I could get a refund, I would have gone elsewhere, All of the reviews were negative, from bugs, place being dirty, rude staff etc. This is my honest opinion, Peta provided great customer service, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as good as could be, Because I had heard so many negative things and since I could not have a refund, I decided to TOUGH it out. I took bug spray, sanitizer, my own pillow, blankets, towels etc, I sprayed every crevice and drawers etc. During my stay I saw no evidence of any roaches or bugs. The sheets were clean, and the bathroom and floors were clean. The TV and internet worked; the area is very quiet. Original fridge did not work but was quickly replaced. Telephone is hardly answered you were asked to text but the text did not usually get you an immediate response. Two tiles in wash basin area were broken and presented a hazard, there was a funny smell to the room but disappeared after I sprayed it with bug spray, who knew bug spray could make a room smell good (smile). The outside of the property is drab, behind the fence at the rear had thick overgrowth, at nights I was very alert. A no-frills hotel but it worked for me, Peta is a gem, and I hope management recognizes this.

The picture on the website is nothing like what the rooms are like. The was no hot water to take a shower. It smelled moldy and of cigarettes. The sink drain did not have a stopper. No TV service unless you use Roku. If it was not an emergency for the hurricane I would not have stayed. The only positive was that they were pet friendly. The area is not very safe and not even sure if the pool area was available because of all the over grown weeds.

Very outsated, front desk had some big box installed in the corner that was air-conditioning receptionist chair only. Everything looked old and repairs done unprofessionally
