Too bad that the building design and layout is just right and the room that I was in was of a sufficient, satisfactory design. That said, the place is a garbage pail with the smell to prove it. I was assigned room 222, immediately upon walking in the first red flag was the sticky vinyl floors, once pass that you notice the horrible roach infested odor that I am very familiar with as I am a landlord. The furniture is outdated and damaged, there were no chairs in the dinette area or even at the desk. Then came the roaches, I killed about 8 or 9 myself and left them bundled so that they could be seen by the staff. Unfortunately, the EDC festival was going on and so when I attempted to find another place to stay, my options for a replacement stay would have reached high hundreds in difference, so I bit the bullet and decided to bear with it the place for the 3 nights.

The accommodations were not good. The toilet was broken in the room and would not flush. The pull out couch that we were relying on was broken and did not function and whichever employee was in the room last knew this in advance of our stay as they left it extended and leaning up against the wall (mechanism for the bed to come down was broken) so 2 of 6 family members had to sleep on the floor. Room also smelled bad. Staff at front desk was not helpful whatsoever with the exception of Toni, the manager, who is refunding out stay as our room accommodations were not even close to satisfactory. I am shocked that this location IS the Extended Stay America location for Orlando! It is not well run or an example of a well kept location. It needs investment to fix it and clean it up and have it be a good example of what Extended Stays can offer.

I checked into this hotel and left within 10 minutes. The room smelled awful, and there was no security—people were openly smoking in the elevator. The worst part was seeing a rat! I left as quickly as possible and ended up stranded in Orlando until I found another hotel. This was the worst experience I've ever had. Avoid this place at all costs.

Full of mold, mildew, dirt and rot and falling apart - felt very unsafe. It was shocking.
