Downer on the property manger

Posted 16 Nov 2021 on Hotels
I reserve the room for my wife and daughter. Paid for with my credit card . The property manger made me go through hoops because I was there to check in . Before I got though I was waiting for him to ask for my fingerprints

When we arrived at the property it was double booked! We arrived promptly at 4 pm, check in time with e ouch perishable food to feed 10 people for 8 days, just to find out we had no room. All of our food was ruined! We had people to pick up from the airport with no place to take them. We scrambled and found a place that cost us triple the cost because it was last minute! The property nor Expedia took any responsibility, be aware you may not have a room if you book with these people. The other review I left was deleted because it was to detailed so this is leaving out a ton of details. My advice be careful if you book with this company, you will find your budgeted trip costing you triple and lots of stress and problems! Sad that they have mot even offered that day or today to do anything to make it right!!!

I am not sure which guest left this review because it shows as Anonymous, however, this 2 bedroom condo is in a great location, our beds are amazingly comfortable, we provide pots and pans, washer and dryer are included. All necessary supplies are provided as well, such as towels, toilet paper, soap, detergent and etc. If you had any concern or issues, you can bring to our attention. Great condo to stay at! Lots of space and very clean. Don’t expect daily cleaning and bring wash clothes.

Hello Jodi, I am glad you have enjoyed your stay at our private condo. Yes, since we are a vacation home and privately owned unit, the cleaning only occurs prior to and after the reservation period, not every day as a hotel would offer. But we can provide more towels as these are included, or wash cloths in case the guest requests them for free! Looking forward in hosting you again at our beautiful property!

Great location; very close to Disney World. This room is privately owned and does not have any affiliation with the hotel management. It was a nice 2/2 bed/ bath with a small living room, however it was adequate. However, when we got to the room it had not been cleaned. I contacted the property manager and he apologized and had a cleaning crew at the room within 2 hours. He was very nice on the phone and when my family returned after dinner the room was much cleaner. The property manager even refunded us our $95 cleaning fee. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed!!!

Posted 30 May 2018 on Travelocity
I guess you NEED to be able to "read between the lines". When my wife and I got to room, the cleaning lady was still there and finishing. we were 3 minutes early. When she left, the room smelled like strong cleaning chemicals and rotten fish. We just dealt with it and opened some doors. The following day the rain had stopped and we went to go sit out by the pool. When we got to the pool we noticed we needed a swipe card. We went to the desk to ask about the pool access. Little did we know, that this was a "privately owned unit" and we did not have pool access. I text the owner about this. He informed us that the room is "...independent from the resort. The amenities are not included. No picture of amenities on the ad. No indication of connection to the WorldQuest Resort and it specifically says not to go to the lobby. Our price is much cheaper than the resorts as well." The address in fact directly connects to WorldQuest Resort. When I researched the Resort, it shows the pool, tiki bar, shuttle bus service... Now...as for his price being "much cheaper"...FALSE!!! We paid $99.00/night. The Resort is currently having rates for the same type room and same time frame at $127/night ($28.00/night difference). However, this privately owned unit owner charges a $90 cleaning fee. The Resort charges $39.00. That's a $51.00 difference. After doing all the math, we saved a WHOPPING $5.00. I would have been more than happy to pay that extra $5.00 to have pool access. A disappointment!

I am sorry sir. for all misunderstandings brought up here, I believe that our ad. on the booking site was very clear about the unit being independently owned and not part of the Resort Program by specifically mentioning not to go to the lobby, and no pictures of amenities or indications that we were part of Worldquest Resort Program. Unfortunately, the cleaning fee can not be as low as the Resort's cleaning fee since we only manage 1 unit privately owned and not hundreds like the Resort does, they have their own staff cleaning hundreds of units and can lower the price. A cleaning fee that low is nonexistent among private units. Important to mention that Property Owners do not profit from this cleaning fee, it's used to pay the profissionals and provide shampoo, bathing soap, towels, pots and pans, toiletries, kitchen detergent, sponge, plates and silverware for your convenience all included in that fee for replacements. Our cleaning staff does not only clean the apartment, but they wash the dishes left behind, and replace the items listed above plus clean linnen and towels for your convenience. As far as "the cleaning lady," she was actually the property inspector whose job is to inspect the property after the cleaning staff conducts the cleaning. Her job is to make sure everything was covered during the cleaning, and if there needs to be any touch-ups or replacements. As far as the smell of "strong cleaning chemicals and rotten fish," I am actually surprised because you never mentioned, and her job is to spot and resolve these issues. Nevertheless, I will bring it to her attention even though I had never received any complaints regarding bad or strong smells in the apartment before. I was always available by phone, text or e-mail 24/7 and I would have taken care of this issue myself if all had been brought to my attention.

Good location and price -- but cleaning fee is high so don't be surprised. You can't get an entry pass so have to show ID every time.

Hello Bill, the cleaning fee is at a fair and regular price considering we provide toiletries, shampoo, bathing soad, kitchen detergent and esponge, pots and pans, silverware and plates are all included. Housekeepers do not only clean the room but their job is to replace these items and wash all of the dirty dishes left behind by the guests. Unfortunately you did not mention that we had worked out a deal to reduce slighlty the cleaning fee to please your stay with us. You checked out late even though we had mentioned it would not be possible, because we had back to back reservations on that day. I had specifically mentioned to go to the lobby only to get a parking pass in order to avoid being stopped and questioned at the Resort's gate. I am sorry, you've had these misunderstandings, but I personally tried the best I could to please you and guarantee you a great stay!
