"We splurged and spent the night. This beautiful hotel. After a delicious buffet dinner we ventured down for a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Felt very good, but the temperature was not as warm as we would have liked. We did not use the other wellness facilities but would have liked to use the red light therapy room if time had allowed! Breakfast was wonderful. Fabulous pillows on the bed and we slept like babies! We felt spoiled!"

"A really lovely hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and looked all the way along the coastline. The room was spotless and very comfortable- the bed was fabulous. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of variety. The service was outstanding and the view was incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great price for what was offered."

"The manager at the front desk is terrible. We witnessed problems with other guests and had a very unprofessional attitude. At one point he tried to persuade my wife that in this hotel a king bed is considered 2 singles pushed together. The rest of the staff were excellent. "

"Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Room was large and very clean. We paid extra for a room with a terrace and a view and wished we had just gotten a basic room. The room was on the first floor and traffic noise from the street below made the terrace unpleasant. We also were at the far end and there was very little water view. "The hotel is located in a handy position for getting about to different restaurants. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, the wellness area with the sauna with the most incredible view - not to be missed. Great breakfast buffet with lots of choice and catering to all sorts of dietary requirements. My only negatives…our room was rather small and felt in need of renovation. It was comfortable but the carpet was a bit tatty and had marks on it. Perhaps there are plan to improve this part of...

"We were originally booked for 2 nights and extended it to 4. The hotel and Opatija were perfect for taking it easy and enjoying nature. The hotel is everything that the photographs depict. Having breakfast on our private terrace was to die for! The staff is friendly and efficient. One day we rented a car and drove to Motovun in the Istria Peninsula which was very enjoyable. Driving in that area was easy."
