Dated and unfriendly
Posted 15 Aug 2024 on HotelsThe hotel was dated and smelled humid. There were few restaurants available outside the premises and not walkable distances. The service was average and not foreigners friendly. The onzen was great.

Loved the Onsen
Posted 7 Jan 2020 on HotelsWe did the Tateyama Alpine Route from Toyama and decided to stay in Omachi. To get to Omachi there is a bus you can catch after getting off the tunnel electric bus in Ogizawa. We were pleasantly surprised with our room located on the top floor and had our own balcony. We stayed in a traditional Japaneses room which had its own toilet and bathroom.
The onsen offered at this hotel is fantastic. Inside and outside onsen with sauna.
The staff are helpful. Due to the timing of luggage forward service, our luggage had to be forwarded to the hotel a day prior to us arriving. The hotel and staff kept it safe us, which was great.
We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Hot Springs Bath
Posted 4 May 2019 on HotelsBe sure to enjoy the large hot springs baths at the hotel. Be prepared to sleep on futons over tatami mats. There are several attractions that you can easily access using the two circular bus routes in Omachi.

Nice hotel for getting to Tateyama Kurobe
Posted 19 Jun 2018 on OrbitzIt is a good choice for rather tight budget with buffet half board options near the area. Originally I booked a 8-tatami triple room, I was told later at the hotel for a free upgrade offer to 10-tatami triple room. It was a surprise to me. Also the onsens in hotel also were great experience and relaxing. If you would like to visit Tateyama Kurobe area, it would be a choice for you as an economical half board option.

Inflexible checkin
Posted 27 Apr 2018 on HotelsNot very flexible in the checking time. All who came earlier than 3pm were told that the room is not ready. Only nearer to 3 pm were the room released to us.

Posted 8 Jul 2017 on HotelsI loved this hotel of the quietness location, nice dining place with serve quality foods, convenience bus access to destination location and nice indoor and outdoor onsen. It is a very memorable to stay in this nice Japanese traditional onsen hotel. Highly recommended.

Room is clean. Location is great and close to the bus stop. Staff is courteous and always trying to help. Buffet dinner is outstanding.
